We are confident of our abilities in our field. However, what we say doesn't matter. Below, we are proud to showcase a list of genuine written and video testimonials from our global portfolio of clients.
Stirling County RFC, one of Scotland's Premier Clubs travelled to South Yorkshire on their Mini Rugby Tour in May 2025, stopping off at the Tynedale RFC Festival on the way home across the border. Initially booking to stay at a Kingswood Centre, their sad insolvency meant a re-jig of Plan A. Never phased to find a solution, Tom re-routed the tour to the excellent PGL Centre in Yorkshire & we were delighted with the result despite the obstacles along the way.
Tom and the Team at Sky High Sports made the process of organising a Tour of 57 kids and 16 adults much more pleasurable than it would've been without their help, all in what turned out to be very trying circumstances out with either our or KHS's control. The Tour we ended up with was excellent and ran almost seamlessly, including the weather. Travel, accommodation, team building activities and arrangements at the Tynedale Minis Festival were all excellent. I'd definitely use SHS again!

The U12 from Winnington Park RFC embarked on this age-groups first ever tour & chose South Yorkshire as their destination. They stayed at the brilliant PGL Dearne Valley and competed at the longstanding Dinnington RUFC Festival just a short-journey away from base. A brilliant group to work with & we were thrilled to recieve their kind feedback.
We’ve just returned from an unforgettable rugby tour arranged by Sky High Sports, and I can confidently say it was a huge success from beginning to end.
Our stay at Dearne Valley in South Yorkshire, followed by the Rugby Festival at Dinnington Rugby Club, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we began planning, Tom and the team at Sky High Sports made the entire process unbelievably easy. Their organisation and support were outstanding – it honestly felt like all we had to do was collect payments from those attending.
Everything else was taken care of with professionalism, efficiency, and a real understanding of what makes a great tour. The activities at PGL Dearne Valley were superb – fun, engaging, and perfect for team building.
The kids had an amazing time, and the adults did too. The accommodation was excellent, and the food was spot on – a real bonus for a group of hungry rugby players and their families! Sunday’s Rugby Festival at Dinnington Rugby Club was a standout moment. The quality of the event, the level of organisation, and the spirit of competition made it a fantastic experience for all involved.
The whole tour was incredible value for money, and the memories made will last a long time. Huge thanks again to Tom and everyone at Sky High Sports – your hard work and dedication made this one of the best tours imaginable.
We can’t wait to do it all again!
Alex Wood | Head Coach
We're always delighted when Chiswick RFC get in touch. They are brilliant tourists and wonderful hosts for teams travelling to London & we couldn't be happier with the growing partnership we have with the club. This was one of four touring groups which departed on a SHS Tour in 2025 & the Minis chose to travel to Kent, competing in the festival at Folkestone RFC.
Chiswick Rugby Club has partnered with Sky High Sports on numerous occasions over the last few years for our age-grade tours and tried different formats and locations. They are super reliable but also agile in terms of transport and accommodation and very customer centric when it comes to activities for the kids. I was super happy with the service overall. The outdoor activities for the kids were superb.
Gauthier De Beer | Head of Mini & Youth Rugby
Great tour, well organised and seamless admin, kids had a great time and both facilities and food were great on site - lots of smiles .. Tom does a fantastic job pulling it all together

English Championship Club Caldy RFC embarked on two Italian Tours in the Spring of 2025 with Sky High Sports. Their U16 visited Parma, whilst their U17 spent time in the beautiful city of Verona. Given the large touring squad, we arranged A & B fixtures with teams from Rugby Lyons Piacenza, Rugby Colorno, Rugby Formigine & Rugby Modena, giving the tourists a taste of both top-level clubs & brilliant community level organisations. The team also embarked on the brilliant Zebre Parma Rugby Experience at Stadio Lanfranchi, arranged by Zebre GM & ex-Italy second-row George Biagi.
We set out to make memories for all the 46 players, 54 parents including 8 coaches associated with Caldy RFC U15. We achieved that goal and much more. The city, venues, itinerary, host clubs, standard of rugby and our SHS chaperones were exceptional throughout, going above & beyond, and we all had a fantastic weekend. A weekend that will live long in the memory for many years to come. The itinerary worked really well and the timings meant we were never late or rushed. The other activities such as Karting, Wine Tasting and Ferrari museo all worked brilliantly. It was a fantastic experience all round.

Gonzaga are a powerhouse of High School Rugby in the United States. Back to back National Champions in 2023 and 2024, we have been delighted that they have chosen Sky High Sports as their Tour Operator for their Tours to France, Argentina & now Italy. The School travel with three teams, two at U18 and one at U16 as well as a brilliant band of Parent Supporters. The remit of the tour is clear - travel to prepare for their National Championship campaigns, embrace new Rugby Cultures, thrive in new envionments and experience off-the-track destinations.
The Tour started in Verona, with some time spent at the magnificent Payanini Centre, the state-of-the-art home of Rugby Verona. An intense training programme, including a coaching clinic with 1st XV players from Benetton Treviso, front loaded the tour ahead of games at Rugby Colorno & Rugby Rovigo, two icons of Italian Rugby. A Pro-Experience at Zebre Rugby Parma gave the team an insight into the life of a Pro Player, providing incredible learning opportunities to take back home.
Alongside the Players Tour, the Parents enjoyed the finer things Italy has to offer. A Cruise on Lake Garda, Wine Tasting in Valpolicella, a Prosciutto & Parmegiano experience in Parma, sightseeing in Venice & some phenomenal restaurants provided plenty of La Dolce Vita between the Rugby Matches.
Off the field, the team experienced some awesome White Water Rafting in the Dolomites, Paintball near Parma & time in Venice alongside their Parents.
We look forward to working with Peter & the Gonzaga group for many years to come.
Richie and his team are the consummate professionals and provide the highest degree of service. Any question or request, the first response is "Let us see if we can make that happen." And usually they make it happen unless it is something out of their control. We feel like it is a true partnership and that our best interests are always at the front of everything they do. We are continually letting others know about how good the tours are with Sky High Sports.
Peter Baggetta | Head Coach
We have been fortunate to work with Galway Corinthians for many years now, a relationship which started with them hosting our touring sides heading to the West of Ireland. Thankfully that has developed & this was the fourth group we have 'hosted' ourselves in Italy. The feedback from Aisling speaks for itself & we're so pleased to hear the hard work & relationships which go into creating these tours shines through.
Our recent rugby tour to Parma, Italy was an unforgettable experience—filled with top-quality rugby, outstanding hospitality, and lasting memories. The clubs we visited—especially Colorno and coach Riian—made us feel completely at home. The strong relationships you’ve built with these clubs were evident throughout the trip, and they made a real difference.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and generosity. The food and hospitality at each club far exceeded our expectations, and we felt genuinely cared for wherever we went.
One of the most heartwarming aspects of the tour was seeing the camaraderie develop between the U12 players from Ireland and Italy. Despite the language barrier, friendships were formed, jerseys were swapped, and the spirit of rugby shone through—it was a joy to witness. The tour was a resounding success.
When I asked the boys what their highlight was, every single one said, without hesitation, “the rugby.” That speaks volumes about the quality of the opposition, the smooth organisation, and the fantastic atmosphere you created. You're doing a brilliant job—thank you for an incredible experience!
Aisling Burke | Tour Lead
Verona hit #1 on our Top Ten Tour Destinations in 2024 & Perthshire RFC were the maiden visitors that season. The incredible city is worth a visit at any time, but for Rugby, you will see why it is one of our favourites.
Ex-Scotland Scrum-Half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne finished his Rugby Playing Career at Benetton Treviso & has made the region his home. Sam is a fantastic coach & as Perthshire found, he really adds phenomenal value to a tour with guest coaching and wonderful local knowledge. He certainly goes above and beyond & we're always keen to involve Sam in our Tours to both Verona, Treviso and Jesolo.
Perthshire RFC were great tourists. Their gift of a traditional 'Quaich' Whisky Cup to their hosts at Vicenza was perfect - we always encourage teams to take something from home & this couldn't have been better. On returning to Vicenza some weeks after, the Quaich was thrusted our way, not with Whisky, but brim-full of Grappa. Salute!
SHS organised our Perthshire RFC U15 rugby tour to Verona, Italy, and it was truly an incredible experience.
The stunning scenery upon our arrival set the perfect stage for this amazing opportunity for our players, coaches and managers. The boys had a competitive match against the local team, Vicenza, which not only enhanced their skills but also fostered camaraderie and sportsmanship. They were also fortunate to have a training session with rugby stars Sam Hidalgo-Clyne and Scott Scrafton, which inspired them immensely.
Off the pitch, we explored the rich history and culture of Verona and enjoyed an exciting afternoon of karting. The boys created memories that will last a lifetime.
This tour not only strengthened our team bond but also instilled a greater love for the game. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait for our next tour.
Thank you Jamie and SHS.

In 2025, Keresley RFC travelled with age groups to both Italy and Spain with Sky High Sports. Their U18 XV travelled to Barcelona, staying in nearby Salou - a great location for an end of season Tour. The Spanish Season runs slightly later than it does in the UK for example, so once all is done and dusted at home, there is plenty Rugby on offer in Spain.
Remember, it is the Rugby Federation of the Country you are travelling to which determines when games can be played - not the Union or Federation you're leaving behind - it is just their job to check you have the key requirements in place to travel.
The tour was a fantastic experience for us overall. The hotel was in a perfect location for our needs, and having a rep on hand made a big difference. The help and support was excellent and set us up to enjoy a hugely successful tour.
Daniel Shaw | Tour Lead
Having successfully worked with the Calgary Canucks Rugby Club on their 2024 Tour to Netherlands, Belgium & Germany, we were kindly referred to Inaki and the team at nearby Calgary Saracens. The team wanted to travel to warmer-climes ahead of their 2025 domestic season, so Spain was the perfect setting.
The Tour started in Malaga & featured a 4-team Tournament which included the hosts Rugby Club Victoriano & two English touring teams. Next stop was the incredible city of Granada before time in Madrid at the end of the tour with a game at Complutense Cisneros, one of the countries premier clubs.
Elsewhere on Tour, the team spent a day Kayaking in the Caves near Nerja on the Costa del Sol, took in the splendour of Granada on a city-tour and enjoyed a Market-inspired Tapas Tour of Madrid.
The Calgary Saracens RFC had a fantastic time on our tour to Spain. The four team tournament in Malaga was amazing. Sky High Sports did an amazing job getting us there, planning out our activities, and keeping us informed throughout the tour. We would not hesitate to use them again in future tours.
Inaki Apiazu | Tour Lead
Having successfully toured with Sky High Sports to Italy in 2024, we were delighted to work with the Irons again on their 2025 end-of-season Senior Tour to Salou.
Salou is quickly becoming a popular favourite. A brilliant coastal resort near Barcelona, the destination offers everything you want from a warm-weather tour. Beautiful beaches, good Rugby nearby, access to Barcelona Airport & for senior teams, great nightlife.
We were throughly impressed with our tour to Salou with Sky High Sports. The tour ran smoothly from start to finish with no issues. The destination and hotel were exactly what we were looking for and the activities went down well with all, especially the Go-Karting. I want to specifically thank Tom who joined us on the trip for being there to help with any issues no matter how big or small. Couldn’t recommend him enough for any future tours.

The Ohio University have a long track record of touring to more 'traditional' destinations, with Ireland in particular featuring heavily on their touring CV's. On this, their first Tour with Sky High Sports, we were delighted that they wanted to spread their wings and try a new destination.
We have fought against older and seemingly more experienced Tour Operators who roll-out one-size-fits-all itineraries since day one & to have the opportunity to show Bowling Green how good touring can be demonstrated this in spades.
The Tour focused on Madrid & Seville, two classic cities in Spain. The visitors played three games, two in Madrid with Club and Collegiate opposition, before concluding with a game in Seville against a team selected especially as part of the 25th anniversay celebrations of the foundation of the Rugby Veteranos Society in Seville. The team was made up of sons-of the players who founded this important club in the Seville Rugby Community, a really nice touch.
Elsewhere on the tour, the team partook in the exceptional Market-Themed Tapas Tour of Madrid, spent time in the beautiful city of Toledo, took in a Flamenco Show in Seville, visited the timeless Real Alcazar & had some team-dinners at some wonderful restaurants along the way.
Discussions are already underway for the next tour & we look forward to sharing new & exciting experiences with the team.
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
We especially appreciated so many meals that were covered and the quality of the hotels. They were probably the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Having the bus was so convenient and stress-free and having Jamie at our beckoned call "pinching" our ears with suggestions and guidance made the trip even better.
The day trip to Toledo was very cool and we appreciated that the bus driver took us around the city first so we could stop and take some great pictures from the viewpoint.
The trip was amazing for everyone, and we are very interested in doing our next trip through Sky High Sports.

St Paul Rugby Club from Minnesota travelled to Scotland in March 2025 as part of their 50th Anniversary Celebrations. The tour started with a bang as the visitors joined RC Neuilly (FRA) at Edinburgh Academical FC for a round-robin, before heading to Murrayfield Stadium to see Scotland Vs Wales in the Six Nations.
'Accies' is our home from home in Edinburgh. This most historic of clubs has hosted scores of touring sides over the years, be it for games, a training session, a coaching clinic with a star from Scottish Rugby or just a team dinner in their amazing clubhouse.
Before the team headed to Melrose, we arranged a Pub Crawl with two Scottish International players - a unique opportunity to delve into the goings-on of the previous days Six Nations game.
Once at Melrose, a beautiful town in the Scottish Borders, the team underwent a Home of Sevens experience at the famous Greenyards. Melrose RFC hosted a Tour Match and 50th Anniversary Dinner in honour of the Guests, with full Scottish Splendour and Hospitality on Show. Haggis, Bagpipes, Whisky, the lot.
Last stop was Glasgow. The Pigs embarked on our #1 activity just about anywhere in the UK is the Speedboat Pub Crawl on Loch Lomond. This was followed up with a Tour & Tasting session at Glengoyne Whisky Distillery before an evening of comaraderie in Glasgow. Our friends at Cartha Queens Park RFC wrapped up the on-field action before the visitors headed back to the USA.
The tour was amazing and everything you could ask for in a rugby tour.
We were able to play 3 great matches with 3 incredible host clubs. We had the perfect mix of seeing the large cities and also spent some time in the smaller town of Melrose.
The day after our match with them they hosted a banquet for us to help our club celebrate our 50th year. It was a wonderful honor and one of our guys even got to present the haggis.
The tour was a perfect mix of planned activities and free time to explore the history of the towns we were in.
The day watching rugby and chatting with Hamish Watson was great. He is a great guy and the right person to represent your company. The day out, touring the distillery and then the boat tour was amazing.
Jake from Sky High Sports was with us leading the tour and was wonderful. We will 100% be requesting him again for our next tour.
Many said it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Holy Trinity Catholic High School from Brantford, Ontario departed Canada at the start of their spring season for a tour into Scotland.
The Tour started with tickets to Scotland Vs Wales at Murrayfield in the Six Nations. Whether you're a seasoned match-goer or a first timer, there is nothing like hearing the Lone Piper on the Murrayfield Roof playing Flower of Scotland before the stadium erupts.
Game one was at Goldenacre, the famous home of Heriots Rugby Club in Edinburgh. The team also played at the beautiful Oban Lorne RFC and the famous Strathallen School.
The team had a coaching clinic with Hamish Watson at Edinburgh Accies, partook in Team Building Activities in the Scottish Highlands & spent time in Oban and Stirling before returning home.
We were delighted with the Tour, both on and off the field.
Taking the boys to see Scotland in the Six Nations was unforgettable.
From start to finish the whole experience exceeded my expectations. The pre-tour planning was top notch, the tour guides were knowledgeable and wonderful and the excursions were memorable.
This is a tour that these young men will remember for the rest of their lives.
I have been on many tours with many different agencies and this was by far the best experience I’ve had.
Christian Miller | Head Coach
We have been fortunate to work with our near-neighbours Morpeth RFC on a number of age-grade tours for well over a decade & always look forward to themtouring.
In 2025, the Northumbrian club took their U14 XV across the Border to Edinburgh.
The team played Linlithgow RFC on the spectacular Indoor Rugby Field at Oriam (the training base for Scottish Rugby), before taking on Edinburgh BATs at Raeburn Place, the historic venue of the first Rugby International (Scotland Vs England in 1871), providing the visitors with an experience of the future & tradition of Scottish Rugby.
Off the field, the ever-popular Highland Games Activity & obligatory sightseeing in the beautiful city completed the tour.
Great experience for all involved. Everything worked really well.
Our time at Raeburn Place was fantastic and the Oriam was the best thing we've ever done as a team....and may ever do, it was that good.
The parents loved the Highland Games, the weather played ball and no-one went missing!

Our longstanding partners at Chester RUFC took their Colts XV to Belgium for an end of season tour having enjoyed a series of successful domestic tours in recent seasons.
Having worked with all ages at the Club, it was great to get the opportunity to provide an International Experience for the team. The feedback from M&J Lead Ian Wilson speaks for itself & we look forward to working with the club for both their own tours & hosting visitors into Cheshire & the North West of England for long into the future.
Our tour to Antwerp, Belgium was a fantastic way for our Colts to round off their junior rugby journey, taking with them great memories, valuable experiences, and long-standing rugby traditions as they move into the next chapter of their playing careers, be that at university, with Chester, or elsewhere. I will definitely recommend this tour to other junior age groups. The game at ASUB Waterloo and their hospitality was a stand-out highlight.
Ian Wilson | Mini & Junior Chair
Middlesbrough RFC travelled with their Senior Teams to Germany at the end of a hugely successful League-Winning Season, earning promotion to Level 5 in the English league structure.
The tour was very well organised and all the painstaking tasks were done by Sky High Sports which made things so easy. The tour ran very smoothly and we made memories that will last a life time. This was our first senior tour abroad in 25 years and what an epic trip it was. The tour thoroughly exceeded our expectations.

West of Scotland FC from Glasgow crossed the Irish Sea with their U14 XV for their 2025 end of season tour. The team stayed in Dublin, played at the historic Donnybrook Stadium against Landsdowne RFC & made a pilgrimage to the AVIVA Stadium, the home of Rugby in Ireland. On the journey back to the Ferry in Belfast, they stopped at our good friends at Portadown RFC for Game Two before heading home. The feedback from Meirion Thomas was gratefully recieved & we look forward to working with West of Scotland FC again in the future.
The tour was excellent. Jamie and the team were frankly superb and guided us through the process and didn't over burden us with information request but kept us on track.
Ask the boys the trip to the Aviva and the Hotel were standout highlights, but the two games and the host clubs were utterly amazing with great hospitality and craic with new friendships made between boys, coaches and clubs - the reason we tour. It was a real tour !!!
A full on real rugby tour which player and coaches thoroughly enjoyed. The whole experience was stress free with travel, dinner and accommodation arrangement being expertly arranged.
The hotel in Dublin was spot-on centrally located allowing some exploration of Dublin itself and first class rooms and breakfast. Our two games with Lansdown FC and Portadown RFC were great. They were amazing hosts and made us so welcome, providing a great games on tour experience.
All in an excellent weekend that already has us thinking where next
Meirion Thomas | Tour Lead
We had a great time. It all came together to be a really brilliant experience. The boys had a fantastic time. The hotel was superb. I have passed on the details to other touring teams at Wilmslow.

The biggest compliment is the boys & adults are already discussing next years tour !!

Clayton Bootleggers of North Carolina embarked on their second European Tour with Sky High Sports in late 2024. Following up on their hugely successful Tour to Scotland in 2019, the Bootleggers headed to the Emerald Isle and undertook the much-trusted Dublin, Galway & Belfast route.
The thriving club are a great mark of the rapid development of Rugby Union in the US & it is a great pleasure to work with the club on their touring ambitions. We're sometimes, on this side of the Atlantic, a little quick to think that developing Rugby Countries must learn from the old-guard. We'd challenge any Rugby Administrator, Coach or Leader to sit with clubs like The Bootleggers and see how much we can learn about drive, innovation & growth.
One of the best & we cannot wait to work with the club again.
We have all, sadly and a little worse for wear, made it back to the states. I want to thank you on behalf of the Clayton RFC for another fantastic touring experience.
The level of care that you place into your tours is amazing and we can't thank you enough. I want to give a special mention to both Jake and Martin for the roles that they played in helping enhance our experience.
Both were just as much a part of our experience as any of the other tourists. I can't say enough good things about both of them. I knew that our group was in great hands and it certainly helped me relax and enjoy the trip as a tourist.
Very well done my friend and hats off to your entire team. I hope that it doesn't take another five years before we tour with you again.
Ted Hardy | Club President
The tour was a fantastic experience for the boys on a lads’ holiday/tour. For the majority, it was a first time going abroad on their own and making decisions themselves. They experienced a lads’ holiday with different experiences. The team bonding was very important and made the group tighter than it was. It was good to experience a kangaroo court, which is part of the rugby culture. They made memories that they will always remember from their first rugby tour.
Jason Cook | Tour Leader
Having previously arranged a tour via Jamie and Sky High Sports, we knew we were in safe hands. However, this tour managed to exceed our previous tour to Italy.
Jamie created an excellent package for a great price and the tour was a huge success. It certainly ticked every box in terms of what we were looking for. Tour members are already asking about future tours.
The pre tour support and information provided by Jamie and Rachel was excellent. We would certainly recommend your company to others and look forward to planning future tours with you.
Kristian Smith | Tour Leader
Whilst we initially felt that the tour was expensive, when we broke down everything that was included we quickly realised it was great value for money.
It has saved me a lot of time and effort organising hotels, travel, activities, rugby, and food. This is the third time that our age group has used Sky High Sports, and we have always been more than satisfied with the service we received pre, post, and during the tour. I would recommend them to any club planning a tour.
Tom has always been very accommodating to the needs and wants of our age group, and we have already started planning the next one, but I am not sure how he is going to top the experiences we had on our recent tour to Ostend.
Anisha Oram | Tour Leader
Our tour was truly unforgettable and brought so much growth to our team. Many of our girls built stronger bonds with one another, both as individuals and as a group, which was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. The celebration of women in rugby was inspiring, and being able to represent that at the Women’s Rugby World Cup home opener was a highlight that excited every one of our tourists.
On the pitch, our matches were both challenging and rewarding. Our first match against West of Scotland stood out for its respectful and spirited rugby, and we had a great time mingling with them afterward. Our first win was one of the most exciting moments of the tour, with every player stepping up, even though we unfortunately faced some injuries.
The feedback from our team has been overwhelmingly positive. For many, it was a life-changing experience—an opportunity they never thought they would have without this tour. None of it would have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors: Christina Fazio Real Estate as our main sponsor, The Vault Hair Studio, and Bogle Social Club. We are also so grateful for Sky High’s organizer and tour lead, Jake, whose guidance, communication, and knowledge of the places we visited made the entire journey seamless and unforgettable.
This tour was more than just rugby—it was about connection, growth, and celebrating women in sport. It’s an experience that will stay with us forever.
Taylor Cherski | Tour Leader
Our rugby tour to Newcastle was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! 🏉✨
We were lucky enough to be part of history, attending the opening match of the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, which gave us all goosebumps and inspired us for the rest of the trip. On top of that, we had the chance to play in a brilliant tournament at a local rugby club, where the welcome, the rugby, and the atmosphere made it second on the list as a highlight.
Of course, no tour is complete without a taste of the city itself, and the legendary Newcastle nightlife lived up to every expectation — full of energy, laughter, and team bonding (and everything :-) in between).
The tour brought us closer together, gave us memories we’ll never forget, and reminded us why we love this sport and each other so much. Our warm up game that we played the weekend after our tour, was encouraged by the team bonding that we were able to experience in Newcastle and we drew our warm up game on the 30th August 2025, with 33 v 33 end score.
We came home with sore legs, tired voices, and memories that will last a lifetime 💙.
Brigette Johnston | Tour Leader
We had a great time from start to finish, we asked for competitive fixture & Sky High Sports certainly delivered on that! Whilst the results didn't go our way our Girls would have learnt a lot & grown both as rugby players & people because of this experience.
Jamie & Rachel were great to work with, supported & efficient every step, particularly when we had last-minute changes there sorted without fuss.
Big thanks Sky High Sports you nailed it.
Our tour to Antwerp, Belgium was a fantastic way for our Colts to round off their junior rugby journey, taking with them great memories, valuable experiences, and long-standing rugby traditions as they move into the next chapter of their playing careers, be that at university, with Chester, or elsewhere.
Ian Wilson | Chester Colts
This is our third time touring with Sky High Sports and working with Jamie, in particular.
Jamie is friendly, professional and listens to feedback well. The team delivered another successful tour - which is not an easy feat with 4 age groups and parents all looking to enjoy a busy weekend,
The food was excellent on both evenings and the rugby clubs who hosted us made us feel welcome and looked after us well!
The highlight of the weekend was the Red Roses game at York and seeing the girls interactions while watching meeting some of their sporting heroes.
Suzanne Lenham | Tour Leader
Our tour to Bristol was great fun!
We had 65 tourists of which 38 were teenage boys. As such we wanted there to be little downtime, plenty of food and some good rugby.
Our activities were zorbing football (with rugby style collisions) and a dedicated bowling alley with its own pool tables. These activities filled the time well between matches and meals.
Our food options were excellent and allowed the boys to eat well and spend time as a touring group socially. Our accommodation was the YHA and this fitted the brief.
The three days/two nights went very well with a French fancy dress theme and youth friendly tour court.
Jamie and the team at Sky High Sports provided us with a tour that was exactly as we wanted. Excellent feedback from all tourists! Thank you.
Julian Thompson | Tour Leader
Our tour package collated by Jamie and team at Sky High Sports provided everything we could have wanted from a rugby tour.
Travelling with over 80 tour members was no mean feat, but SHS had everything covered.
From team building to judges court, playing rugby games to socialising, everyone had a fantastic time and created the best of memories.
We'd highly recommend SHS for organising your rugby tour.
Gemma MacDonald | Tour Leader
From start to finish, Sky High Sports provided a fantastic tour. They listened to our request pre tour and produced some fantastic options and were on call at any point to help with any questions.
Iain Berthinussen | Tour Leader
Ostend was a fantastic destination for our U14 tour. The ferry was fun for the lads, transfer at the other end not too long and the hostel in Ostend was fantastic and very accommodating.
Beach fun was had in the sunshine and it was a very safe place to let the lads have a bit of freedom in downtime between the fixtures.
The highlight was the two host clubs - they could not have been nicer, more hospitable or a better bunch of folk to share some rugby in the sunshine with. Battle Karting in Dunkirk on our way home was a fab way to round off a great weekend with great people.
Fran Evans | Tour Leader
A fantastic weekend of rugby, team building activities and fun in the Norfolk area for the May Bank Holiday. Superb hospitality from all the clubs we played and excellently looked after by all the staff at Overstrand Hall. I would recommend this tour to all youth grade teams.
Mark Rudman | Tour Leader
The tour that Sky High Sports organized for us was brilliant, offered great support throughout the pre-tour process, and the tour ran smoothly from start to finish. All my touring party have been incredibly complimentary on the standard of the tour.
Henry Smith | Tour Leader
No improvement needed.
Communication from Jamie right throughout the process was fantastic, if he didn't have the answer to hand he called back with the answer as quickly as possible.
The two host clubs were fantastic. The rugby was first class along with the hospitality. One of our lads got injured playing against Novos on Saturday morning, a parent took Harvey and his dad to the hospital to get checked out.
We were made to feel right at home.
Colin Donaldson | Tour Leader
Sky High Sports arranged an absolutely brilliant weekend of rugby for our U15 boys and they all, without exception, had an incredible weekend.
The itinerary was pulled together in a fairly short timescale as other plans fell through and I feel very luck that we found Tom, who helped with all arrangements every step of the way. From the coaching clinic with a Bath player, to watching the match in the sunshine, everything ran smoothly and gave our boys great memories with their teammates which I know they will treasure.
All the accompanying adults were able to relax and enjoy it with the boys as everything had been considered in advance. As a team, and a club, we have been impressed with all aspect of the tour and the service offered by Sky High Sports.
Amy Graham | Tour Leader
Having read positive reviews from other clubs we approached Sky High Sports to help organise our end of season rugby tour to Edinburgh.
For most of our players, this was their first touring experience and so it was especially important for everything to run smoothly.
The organisation of transport, accommodation and matches was faultless, with Richie and Jake always on hand to help answer any queries. We played six games over two days, including against a touring side from the USA.
Facilities were fantastic and on the second day our games were played at the impressive Oriam Sports Performance Centre; an incredible experience for everyone involved.
Needless to say we highly recommend Jamie and the team and we’ll be looking to book again in the future.
Jon Nugent | Tour Leader
An absolutely amazing time, from start to finish this tour has been utterly fantastic from great rugby, excellent extra activities where our players have had the time of their lives on their first ever tour! Our parents, have equally had a brilliant time. As coaches this was totally stress free as everything was planned and executed without fail allow us to enjoy the tour as much as everyone else.
Anand Mistry | Tour Leader
The tour was a huge success - great fun, very enjoyable and well organised - everything ran smoothly from the moment we got on the coach with Mohammed our driver all the way to the ferry, hotel, meals out and rugby - easy relaxed timing and everything worked. Just as we wanted and just as you outlined - superb
John Macfarlane | Tour Leader
We all had an amazing time in Edinburgh. The rugby teams were well matched and the boys enjoyed two physical and challenging games.
The activities were great and Saturday night restaurant absolutely perfect for a big group of 36.
Organisation and communication was excellent and supportive when, as the organiser, I had the inevitable panic.
Kelly Emms | Tour Leader
We were looked after from beginning to end. Any problems were resolved quickly and with a 10 fold return in terms of keeping us happy. The centre was fantastic and perfect for a rugby tour and Doncaster Knights were amazing hosts too.
The Sky High Sports team did a fantastic job and although the price seemed a fair bit, what you get for the money is fantastic value and you have the safety of somebody at hand to help when things don't quite go to plan.

What an incredible experience touring Japan! We are so grateful to our gracious hosts and the entire rugby community in Japan for the warm hospitality, competition, camaraderie, and friendship.
The level of skill, technique, and passion for the game that we witnessed from Japanese players was truly exceptional. We have learned so much and have been inspired by your skill based approach to the game. This trip has been an invaluable opportunity for our players to grow and learn both on and off the field.
A big thank you to the parents, supporters, friends, and families who made this tour possible. And of course, a heartfelt appreciation to our amazing coaching staff and team management for their vision, mentorship and leadership.
Most importantly, we are in awe of the young men who represented the Grizzlies with such pride, integrity and class. You are outstanding ambassadors for the Grizzlies, your home club and school programs. This experience has been outstanding because of all of you.
We can’t wait to return to Japan next year and continue building these incredible connections within the global rugby family.
Arigatou gozaimasu, Japan!
Josh Glaser | Tour Manager
The tour process, from initial interactions to follow up afterwards has been excellent and everything from the accommodation, through the activities to the stand out matches we were able to play were just spot on for an U14 group of players. This knowledge of what will work for different age groups is incredibly helpful in building a successful tour.

Long Beach State has once again had a first class experience on tour by working with Sky High Sports.
From discussions and planning the tour around things we wanted to do and see down to the execution of the tour competition, transfers and hotels used were top notch.
The players all commented on what a great itinerary we had. We are looking forward to planning our next tour with Sky High Sports!

Following their inaugural Tour to Ireland in December 2022, The Australian Raptors Rugby Academy have become a force of nature in terms of Rugby Development in their region & their unrivalled Touring Traditions. This incredible programme exists to Create Better Human Beings through Rugby. Their expectation is to connect with established Sporting & Educational establishments at-location to open the doors of opportunity for their players in later life.
Since that inaugural tour, we have been priviliged to work with them on two follow up tours to Ireland which have since spanned the Irish Sea to take in Scotland and England. We've also worked with them on two hugely successful Californian Tours and delivered a Tour to Spain for their U16 Girls XV in 2023.
One of the great joys we experience as our role as Tour Operator is the ability to provide connections & bring together people from across the world to celebrate a shared passion for Rugby.
Following the Tours to California, the Raptors have subsequently hosted our long-time clients from Long Beach State University in Sydney & Wollongong as well as the Academy Team from the Major League Rugby team San Diego Legion.
The partnership we have developed has provided great mutual opportunity for new experiences, new opportunities and new friends.
Professional well planned tours with attention to detail makes for a vey smooth tour from our perspective. SHS group are also very proactive providing a confident approach for our athletes and can move options around to suit our budgets and preference.
Raptors Rugby also have been afforded the benefits of SHS extensive range of contacts in the Rugby World to give our academy a first class experience in Five different countries.
Our athletes have experienced some very memorable moments on and off the Rugby field and and SHS group have been a major influence in the Australian Raptors Rugby Academy International Rugby IQ.

In 2023, The Men's & Women's Rugby Teams from Yale University both travelled to Europe with Sky High Sports. The Women's XV Toured to France & the Men's XV travelled to Ireland and Scotland.
The Ireland leg of the Men's Tour centred on St Patrick's weekend & across the water into Scotland, the undoubted highlight was a day in St Andrews, culminating in a match between the two World-Class Educational establishments which went to the wire.
In Paris, the Women's XV took in the France Vs Wales game in the Men's Six Nations at the Stade de France after a few days on the south coast in Marseille.
Yale Rugby had an unforgettable trip to Scotland and Ireland thanks to Sky High Sports and Richie. Highlights included Dublin, Belfast and then the ferry to Scotland to spend time in Edinburgh and St Andrews. From planning the itinerary to our return home, everything was seamless; we highly recommend working with Richie and his team!

We were delighted to host the Penn State Rugby Team in Spain in March 2024. The tourists played out a tight encounter at the National Rugby Stadium in Madrid against Cisneros Rugby, before signing off with an even closer game at Sant Cugat Rugby near Barcelona. Other highlights included:
🏉 - Rugby Coaching with Local Children
⛴️ - Catamaran Cruise on the Barcelona Coastline
🥘 - Tapas Tour & Market Experience in Madrid
⚽️ - Tickets to Atletico Madrid Vs Real Betis in La Liga
Great tourists & we were privileged to show them across Spain.
From the build up to the execution of the tour itself, it was a great experience. Jamie our Guide was very knowledgable about our destinations and provided valuable insight to the staff and team. We had a great time.
Justin Huntley | Head Coach | Penn State Rugby
A non stop action packed weekend - can’t believe we did so much!
Accommodation spot on - an annex to ourselves with social space. Sale Sharks coaching session an inspiration to lads and coaches alike. Some architectural education in Chester too and then great play on Sunday - compete and challenging.
Penrith made us really welcome and post match gathering and ceremonies were made really special. Very quiet bus in the way home!!
Kate Dybale | Head Coach | Currie Chieftains
It all came together to be a really brilliant experience. The boys had a fantastic time. The hotel was superb.
Danielle Timoney | Head Coach | Wimslow Wolves
We had a great time in Scotland. All games are very competitive and the activities were perfect for 15-year-old lads.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and we will be looking forward to next year.
Tom Kelly | Head Coach | Gosforth U15's
Exceptional tour from start to finish full of fun activities and great rugby. The whole team and all the parents had a great weekend and can’t wait for the next one.
Richard Judge | Head Coach | Heaton Moor RUFC
Tour was amazing.
We were able to work along side all the reps for this and communication with Tom and Kirsty was great. Kirsty came down for the weekend to support us. The PGL staff were amazing.
All our parents said what a great weekend it was. And we had the added bonus of having soul occupancy.
Kim Clapson | Head Coach | Windsor Minis
Following our successful tour to Kingswood Dearne Valley and the Dinnington Minis rugby festival with our Under 11s and Under 12s teams, we would to thank Sky High Sports for all your help and assistance in arranging the tour and for making the organisation process as easy and pain-free as possible!
We'll certainly use you again!
Jane Slater | Head Coach | Paviours RFC
All parents and especially the children love the tour as they with their mates all weekend, laughing, playing rugby and generally mucking about!!
John Potts | Head Coach | Sutton & Epsom RFC
Jamie at SHS was brilliant, he worked with us and the groups needs and requests to ensure everything was perfect, and it exceeded that!
Gemma Morton | Head Coach | Chester U14's
The Chester M&J toured Doncaster through Sky High Sports. We had an amazing time being together as one large touring squad. The kids had a brilliant time at the accommodation with all the activities to keep them entertained, and the organized rugby events on Saturday and Sunday were competitive and fun.
From beginning to end SHS were extremely supportive, and the SHS team who stayed with us throughout were great!
Super time and we look forward to the next tour.
Paul Jones | Head Coach | Chester Mini's and Juniors
SHS really used their local knowledge and experience to put together a slick tour for the Currie Chieftains. Non -stop from when we left, including some non-rugby events which really kept the boys flying! We were made to feel so welcome at the tournaments and the boys will have memories for a long time to come.
Paul Anstruther | Head Coach| Currie Chieftains U13's
As with any rugby team the team work of BSRFC, SHS and Kingswood was great. The tourists children, coaches and parents had a brilliant time doing traditional rugby tour activities, games and even the beach.
Adam Cleggett| Head Coach| Bishop Stortford
This was the first rugby tour many of our children (and indeed parents) have been on and it certainly won’t be the last!
We have only been back a few days and already the question is ‘where are we going next!?
The Accommodation and the location, the Newcastle Falcons Match experience, the Rugby Events organised by SHS and finally the restaurants were just the perfect mix for a truly magnificent Tour! Thank you for putting this together - kids and parents will remember it for the rest of their lives….
Pete Massey | Head Coach | Sandal RUFC
The tour was well organised and the boys were kept busy from start to finish.
The hotel was really nice and in a central location. It was am amazing weekend of rugby from start to finish, we went to watch Bristol v Sale on the Friday night, Then Beach rugby Saturday and finished the tour playing a couple of games at Warminister RFC.
I would never have booked our final tour dinner on the Saturday at a local club, however this worked so well, so much better than going to a restaurant as the boys were able to run around outside.
Anisha Oram | Head Coach | Windsor U14's RFC
DRFC's tour to Antwerp was everything we wanted it to be and more. All aspects were great, bus and driver, accommodation and the host club RC Murphy's Lommel were very accommodating and the game was played in great spirit.
Gareth Dudgeon |Head Coach | Daventry RFC
Great tour to Chester which is a stunning town and perfect base for a youth tour. The host clubs Sky High worked with gave our lads an excellent experience… who doesn’t love Karaoke!
Tom was brilliant throughout the process and even got a new host club at the 11th hour. Really easy to deal with, flexible, approachable and organised the perfect tour partner!
Donna Kempster | Head Coach | Braintree Academy
Alnwick RFC, Englands most northern Rugby Club, embarked on a tour of Italy in 2024 with their U15 team. It was the groups maiden international tour & having had great success in their local competitions, the team wanted to challenge themselves in a new environment. Staying in the Rugby Hotbed of Parma provided that. Games at Alessandria Rugby and the Italian Rugby Heavyweight of Rugby Viadana exposed the touring English side to what Italian Rugby is all about. Off the field, the group enjoyed a brilliant Go Kart Grand Prix & stayed within walking distance of central Parma.
Going to Parma was our biggest tour to date and we wanted an experience for the boys that they would never forget and Sky High Sports totally delivered on that, the tour was well organised and went without a hitch. The matches and activities were perfect.
Jake who came on tour with us was brilliant the organising before and on tour and great crack. So a massive thank you from all players, parents and coaches for a tour they will never forget.
John Davidson | Head Coach | Alnwick RFC U16s
The tour was very well planned from start to finish. Throughout our time on the trip there were plenty of pre planned activities that kept everyone entertained. The accommodation was far better than we had expected and we didn’t have any issues throughout the trip. The rugby club that we played had a great set up and we’re very accommodating. On the whole Düsseldorf is a really good city to visit on rugby tour with plenty of bars and clubs to keep you busy outside of playing.
Max Trickett | Tour Leader | Battersea Ironsides Rugby club
A great weekend of fun, camaraderie, rugby and tour shenanigans.
Taking a coach all together made all the difference, - it felt like the tour started from the moment we set foot on the coach rather than when the last person arrived at the destination. Great accommodation venue, friendly and competitive fixtures.
I wholeheartedly recommend Chester as a tour destination with Sky High Sports.
Fran Evans | Tour Leader | Ealimg Trailfinders U13's
From start to finish Sky High were fantastic to work with.
Ben Dumpleton | Tour Leader| Leighton Buzzards colts
The Canucks Rugby Club 2024 Senior Men "European Tour" was an unforgettable experience and tour. Our club has a long history of touring and had not been since 2014, so we were all eager to get back to this tradition, especially with many Dads and sons available. Working with Sky High Sports did not disappoint as they put together a tour and trip of a lifetime for many of us. The itinerary throughout Amsterdam, Gent and Heidelberg was carefully thought out and allowed for a perfect balance of rugby and tourist related activities. All three cities had a unique blend of character and the transportation by the bus worked out great - the driver was very attentive as well. The three matches were all successful and we worked with three amazingly kind hosts at each club who each provided us with excellent hospitality in the 3rd half.
In addition to this, we were impressed with the accommodations, specifically at the Monasterium in Gent that was a very unique hotel stay with excellent rooms and amenities. The meals throughout tour such as the pre-paid breakfasts and dinners were a great addition to help save money on the ground for tourists and also excellent in their own right, specifically the all-you-can eat ribs in Gent. The stops throughout the tour were all memorable, specifically the Ypres World War I Battlefield Tour that provided a much-needed educational and impactful experience in-between rugby tour shenanigans.
Our tour guide Jamie Dixon was everything we could have asked for and more. He was very knowledgeable about where to go and how to get there and was also great with spontaneous requests to accommodate additional visitors / special tourists throughout. More importantly he made sure everyone got home safe and checked in on all our tourists throughout. Jamie is welcome at our club anytime.
We thank Sky High Sports - the Rugby Tour Specialists for their hard work and dedication in helping us organize this tour. It was an extremely special occasion that many of us won't forget, especially those with family ties throughout. We will not hesitate to recommend your services to other clubs and will be happy to work together in the future again.

Tynedale RFC play in Level Four of the English League Structure. At the end of their 2023-2024 Season, the Northumbrian Club embarked on their first major tour since 1986, which was also to Canada.
During the tour, the team played three games with Oakvillle Crusaders, Barrhaven Scottish and Ontario Champion Club Brantford Harlequins hosting. The 1986 links remained strong, with Oakville Crusaders also hosting 39 years previously.
The Tour started in Toronto. The team caught the Blue Jays Vs Minnesota Twins game, making use of the amazing Group-Space tickets, which provides a hospitality level experience with incredible views of the action. Team Dinner at Loose Moose preceded a well-enjoyed evening at the iconic Rock 'n' Horse Saloon as well as plenty free-time to see the sights.
Next stop was Ottawa. En-Route, a stop was made for training at the incredible Lanark Highlanders Rugby Club, one of the greatest Rugby Club facilities there is. Rafting on the Ottawa River was the undoubted highlight on this part of the tour.
In Niagara Falls, the team partook in an epic Wine-Tasting odyssey of the region, with visits to four wineries and a brewery to boot. That morning, the Niagara Jet Boat certainly set the tone & shook off any cobwebs endured from a late night at Big Texas Country & Western Bar the night earlier.
The tour concluded with an incredible tour match at Ontario's Champion Club Brantford Harlequins. The tourists edged a to-and-fro affair with a late win, before embracing the wonderful hospitality laid on by the 'Quins.
I've been travelling with Rugby Teams for over thirty-years & I have never experienced such a well-planned, structured and executed trip as our recent club tour to Ontario.
The Sky High Sports team were on hand at every turn & ensured a demanding, mult-stop Tour was delivered seamlessly.
Neil Foster | Club President
Our experience with Sky High Sports was tremendous. From the early planning stages to the tour operations they were consummate professionals. Richie, Elain, and Simon were exceptional hosts that made our enjoyment, safety and Rugby experience their personal goal for the duration of our tour. The WCRFC would recommend Sky High Sports to anyone looking for an exceptional Rugby Tour.
Rolland Cyr | Tour Leader
What a great tour. Skyhigh were fantastic from start to finish to deliver a seamless tour with great content in a fantastic location.
This is not the first time we have used Skyhigh and their ability to "sort things out and get things done" is what gets us coming back.
Fantastic service

We had a superb, very well organised tour - Newcastle is a fantastic city to visit. This was the final youth tour for our lads. We were very keen to go away before the Senior season started so opted for a 'pre-season' trip in July/August. Jamie helped enormously in the build up, working with us to comply with and overcome several covid related obstacles to enable us to safely tour and was available during the weekend that we were away should we have needed him. Nothing was too much trouble.
I’m getting to old for this, still recovering from an excellent weekend having had very little sleep…
However, the tour was a blast and still being talked about now on our Tour WhatsApp Group. The locals and staff at the hotel and all venues were lovely and could not have done more for us… I think we made an excellent choice going to Cork and would strongly recommend any other touring teams thinking of going there "to do it" they will have a blast..
The food , staff and service at Thomond Bar Friday lunch time was just bliss, we were made to feel so welcome and told we had a lovely bunch of lads and they were a credit to the club.
The hotel put on food and a private room for Saturday’s ‘Kangaroo Court’ they also asked for a group photo for their social media sites, I have attached the picture for you. The second picture is the team in the Munster Rugby’s hospitality suite after their match on Friday evening wearing the mandatory tour green capes and masks…
The Woolshed Baa & Grill turned us away on Sunday because they didn’t want the under 18’s in for the match but ‘Reardon’s’ welcomed us with open arms, the locals in the bar were a bit shocked when we sang the English national anthem but enjoyed the fun and banter we had with them during the game.
Anyway, back to the grindstone now…
Jamie, you have been fantastic and I would not hesitate recommending anybody to Sky High Sports in the future..
Thanks you once again,
Kind regards,
Andy.
Bath RFC U10s approached Sky High Sports in the summer of 2019 with the ambition of giving their Mini Rugby side their first taste of rugby touring.
Following a range of tour proposals put forward by Sky High Sports, The side agreed on Exeter as their chosen tour destination. A rugby-mad, compact City on the South West Coast within manageable travel distance for the young side.
The tour would be centred around a pro-fixture at Sandy Park, where Exeter Chiefs would host Bath Rugby in the Gallagher Premiership.
2 days before departure the South West experienced unprecedented rainfall with Spring storms battering the coast leading to widespread flooding in the region. Unsurprisingly, local rugby clubs didn't fair well with host clubs Exeter Athletic and Paignton RFC pitches unable to cope with the intense rainfall.
Thanks to the awesome efforts from our host clubs (Ben Lister at Exeter and Marc Norton at Paignton) we were able to change the venues in short-notice to ensure all fixtures went ahead.
It really shows that we are only as good as the great rugby people that we work with.
Despite a coach puncture to start the journey, the rest of the weekend went extremely well and most importantly, the young players from Bath RFC U10s were able to enjoy a fantastic introduction to rugby touring.
Please see below a tour review Bath RFC U10s Head Coach, Gordon Robinson.
It was absolutely brilliant, thanks!
Really impressed with the effort that Exeter Athletic and Paignton went to in order to have the matches go ahead, both at alternative grounds to where planned, but we made it work. Coach driver was great as well, and we wont blame him for the puncture to kick the tour off with!
All the lads, big and small, had a superb time, with a perfect balance between game time and fun, and I think we created some memories for the youngsters that will last. They were all beaming at the end, and were asking to do it again next season!
Thanks very much for your great work in getting the weekend arranged, it is much appreciated!
Cheers,
Gordon.

Working with Sky High Sports has been great. They have allowed us great flexibility throughout which has enabled us to add numbers easily. Rugby wise we have played 3 great games against some good Irish Teams. Sky High Sports took care of the pre & post game shenanigans and made sure they went well. The Tom Tom Chants will be a highlight... Our tour representative Tom has been great and he's now one of us.
Chris Edwards
The flexibility that Sky High Sports has offered has been huge. The itinerary was well planned and made enjoyable for all. Tom was very helpful in getting the team where they needed to be and was very accommodating throughout. A very memorable trip for the Banshees and the spectators.
The Sunderland Colts U18s Tour to Venice 2019 with Sky High Sports at the helm will certainly go down as the best tour we have had in the many many years of touring independently and with Sky High!
From start to finish Jamie our tour manager was on hand to organise and co-ordinate – leaving nothing to chance. We had an amazing time over 4 days in a top hotel with fantastic facilities. Completely blown away by the host clubs hospitality and some great games of competitive rugby.
It was a fitting end to Junior Rugby for the Sunderland Colts team, the end of an era, and suitably splendid finale of a tour. We had a blast, and having Jamie on tour with us was the icing on the cake!
Thank you so much.
The Tour has been brilliant. Seen loads, great weather, great rugby, great people. It has been fantastic!
Parma is a really good place for a youth rugby tour. It's friendly and safe which means the boys can go off and do their own thing.
The highlight of the tour was definitely the Zebre game. The fans, the community and mixing in with everyone was great.
The girls from Owen Sound were a privilege to host. We had the opportunity to meet the team at their School in the summer before the tour.
As part of our commitment to breaking down the perceived barriers of working with an international agency, we do get on the road with a view of meeting as many teams as we can. This was one such occasion.
The tour itself kicked off with a bang. The team had tickets to the Scotland-Wales match in the Six Nations at Murrayfield. Hearing Flower of Scotland sung in the stadium is a great tonic for jet lag!
The team stayed in Edinburgh, travelled through The Highlands to Oban on the West Coast & finished up in Glasgow. On the field, the highlight was a U18 girls tournament featuring teams from Scotland and England.
The Scottish Weather was in full force during the trip, so we hope to show the OSDSS Team some sunshine on a future tour elsewhere in Europe!
I have to say from start to finish Richie & Sky High Sports have been exceptional. From the initial stages of planning, Richie exceeded our expectations and continued to answer every question we had. It was also great to have Richie visit Owen Sound to make a presentation to the team and the parents before the tour.
The activities and meals throughout the tour were exceptional and the organisation of this was unbelievable.
Our tour matches were great and the hosting was really amazing. The girls have made relationships that will last for a lifetime, the team learned the culture of rugby in Scotland and it was well balanced and competitive.
Looking back there are so many highlights and I can't thank Richie enough. I highly recommend if you're thinking about going on tour to start with Sky High Sports
Rob Lee | Head Coach
The Carson Graham Secondary Tour to Italy is one we were incredibly proud to be associated with. It was the first time we hosted a high profile High School Rugby team from British Columbia & we were delighted with how the tour went.
One of the great things about chaperoning a team for 10+ days on tour is that you get to see how the tourists develop individually and collectively. Touring is a phenomenal vehicle for team building & it was particularly evident on this trip.
We kicked off in Rome & took in the Italy Vs France match in the Six Nations. A private audience with the Italian Rugby Museum, a Bicycle Tour of the eternal city & a tough game at Primavera preceded a venture north. A mid-tour stop allowed for some sightseeing in Florence & Tuscany, before the rugby got back underway in Parma with a tight match at Rugby Colorno. The Tour concluded with a stay on the shores of Lake Como & a third match at AS Rugby Lecco.
The team returned home a tighter and more effective unit on the field. We'd be thrilled to host the Eagles back in Europe in the future.
The quality of the rugby has been really good, the clubs that we have visited have just been incredible hosts. The Italian sides have shown us their culture within the game of Rugby and it has really been an all-round great experience. Richie has been outstanding for us. A great tour. Thank you Sky High Sports.
We had a fantastic time in Barcelona, the lads and all the coaches and parents had time to relax, unwind and team build, alongside some fantastic games of rugby in incredible surroundings. Our day at Ferrari Land was great and we loved having time to hit the beach for some Touch Rugby. As ever, the team at Sky High were fantastic to work with-Jamie was always on hand to answer any questions and help us out both in the run up to and whilst being on tour. Having spent a long time looking at other companies, I still haven’t found one that compares in regards to value for money, customer service and the overall product. We’ll be back for a fourth tour with Sky High soon!
Macclesfield RUFC U12s
On behalf of the everyone on the tour we would like to pass on our thanks for a great tour.
Everyone is on a real high from touring and they are all talking about how fantastic the whole tour was, both lads and Dads.
The host clubs couldn't have been more hospitable and the matches we played were really competitive.
The first tour that you organised for us was Holland 2017- we all still talk about that tour with very fond memories and I'm sure that the Parma tour will be talked about for years to come.
Once again thanks for a brilliant tour.
All in all the boys and the parents had a great time!
Both host clubs were terrific and looked after us very well in terms of welcome , standard of rugby and the lunch they provided. Needless to say they have both been invited back to Essex!
The Hostel was very good in terms of the standard of accommodation and the breakfast provided . The curry also worked out well on the Friday night .
Richard the coach driver was very professional and punctual , and the coach itself was very impressive .
Pizza Express on Saturday night was very good in terms of the service and getting everyone’s food and drink out quickly , which us never easy when there are that many of you. Thank You!
Thank you for helping to organise a fantastic tour.
All the guys had an excellent time, the Arnold team and supporters were fantastic hosts, and we are all back in one piece!
Nothing but positives to say about the trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it - Thank You!!!
Thanks for another incredible tour to Belgium. The venue was superb, accommodation ideal and the meals suggested by yourselves were perfect for our group.
We had a great weekend thank you. The rugby was excellent, the clubs were brilliant hosts. We played two mixed teams against Medway and Aylesbury and lost all the games, but the boys had a good time.
It was a fantastic trip!
The YHA is a wonderful place and the staff were amazing. Broughton Park RFC game was a fantastic experience and they have a very good clubhouse. The karting was unbelievable! If we return to the UK it will be with you! Thanks again.
Sky High and Tom organised a great weekend tour to Düsseldorf. Very helpful in the early hours of the morning on departure when a member of the tour forgot his passport and we missed our allotted ferry slot! Will certainly be using Sky High again next year!
This was the second tour Sky High Sports have organised for us and we will definitely use them again.
They are very flexible and accommodating as details change through out the process, even when numbers change at the very last minute! They understood the rugby club dynamics and as there were 2 teams involved in this years tour, Harry appreciated that decisions were sometimes going to take time to be made and that he may need to do some abortive work - all of which he did without any fuss.
Thank you again for helping to take some of the hassle out of organising a Junior tour and for putting together a proper Rugby tour.
Thanks to all at Sky High Tours, fantastic trip to Newcastle, great rugby, and great tour, thank you for helping make it our best tour yet
Very well organised and delivered at home and on tour. Well done Richie and the team.
Really well organised, everything was a bit last minute due to festival cancellations which was no fault of SHS but was able to get hold of Jamie on the Friday night and a fixture was sorted. Helped us get the whole of the downstairs of a restaurant at the last minute when we were let down with our own booking, just a great tour which everyone enjoyed.
This was probably our best tour ever. The length of time away, journey times, rugby played and accommodation/activities made for an excellent package.
The tour was an outstanding success. We travelled with 35 girls from U13’s to U18’s and 25 parents, everyone had a fantastic time. The hosting clubs were extremely hospitable and looked after us very well. The whole tour was organised really well by Sky High, I would recommend them for any girls team looking to tour in Europe.
Our recent tour to Chester was something that both the kids and parents will remember for the rest of their lives.
It was all about making good memories and everything was spot on from the choice of hotel to the opposing rugby clubs who's hospitality were all amazing.
The communication from Harry made everything so much easier for us to organise and really all we had to do was fundraise. Thank you once again.
The tour experience was one to remember. We went with 31 people in the end, which is a big tour. The city of Newcastle itself was very accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had more tour virgins than seasoned tourers on this tour, and every single one of them had a cracking time. The tournament was fantastic and good sports in which we ended up winning the plate final. Which exceeded our expectations. Would recommend it to other teams!
The weekend was great thank you!
Ghent is lovely and was a lot less stressful having everything already organised so thank you. The staff were lovely and was right in the heart of Ghent so was perfect spot.
The North Carolina based 'Bootleggers' touched down in Scotland in September 2019 on their maiden tour as a club. President Ted Hardy had visited Glasgow several years earlier & forged a link with the Warriors, Glasgow's Pro-Team. The goal was set to return en-masse with the club and add another chapter to the short but impressive history of the club.
Ted and the club were keen to make it a family based trip & keep to one location on tour. From there, we devised an itinerary that kept enough flexibility for the group to do their own thing, but also include enough experiences that would ensure they returned home having seen the best of what Scotland has to offer.
Typically, our itineraries are heavily packed & include everyone on the tour. This was a pleasant change & opened our eyes somewhat to providing a 'shopping list' of inclusions which individual tourists can sign up to. We'd trialled this method with another US-Team earlier in 2019 with success too.
It allows the base package (flights, accommodation & rugby) to be more affordable. Then, as fundraising proceeds, people can sign up to side-trips within the tour. For senior tours especially, we'll be rolling this out across our destinations in 2020 and beyond.
The Bootleggers played two games - first at Hillhead-Jordanhill RFC and secondly at Cartha Queens Park RFC, two of Glasgow's premier clubs. The side trips included a trip to the opulent Glengoyne Distillery, a Speedboat Pub-Crawl of Loch Lomond & tickets to a Glasgow Warriors match.
We look forward to welcoming the Bootleggers on their 2021 Tour to Ireland.
Ted Hardy | Club President
Edinburgh was brilliant.
Itinerary and timings were perfect.
Activities were spot and accommodation was perfect for the group.
Thanks again for everything and have already recommended you to several other schools.
We’ll be in touch again.
The Saints Women's XV touched down in Dublin in August 2019 ahead of a ten day tour of the Emerald Isle. This is the fifth tour we've hosted from the Western Ontario town since 2009 & we look forward to working with the club & local school team again soon.
August is a great time to tour. It is pre-season time here in Europe & it is when enthusiasm for the game is at its highest. The tourists played three games, with Wicklow RFC, Westport RFC & Cooke RFC doing the honours. Sarnia returned home with 1 win and 2 losses.
The action packed itinerary started with a coaching clinic with ex-Ireland & British Lion star Eric Miller and Ireland International Jenny Murphy. Activities included a Bicycle Tour of Dublin, a Gaelic Games experience, a Cruise to the Aran Islands & Cliffs of Moher, tickets to Galway Races, a Black Cab Tour of Belfast and a North Coast trip to the Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery.
Ireland is an incredibly popular destination for Rugby Tours. It is important to keep the itineraries fresh and exciting. With so many teams having 'been there, done that,' we offer programmes which get you off the beaten track, away from the queues and give you something different to share when you get home. We were delighted to hear team leader Sarah's comments following the tour.
This past summer, the Sarnia Saints Women had their first overseas tour & it was an absolute blast. The whole process from start to finish was so easy & professional.
Richie and his team were absolutely fantastic.
We managed to fit in the games within the ten days we were there. We were hosted by, what must have been the nicest people in all of Ireland. We had some post match celebrations that we won't forget any time soon.
Aside from the rugby, we did a perfect amount of sightseeing. Ireland is a gorgeous country & we feel fortunate that we were able to go from top to bottom & see everything that it has to offer.
It was our first tour overseas, but it definitely won't be our last. Thanks guys.

We first hosted Long Beach State on tour in Italy in 2011. Since then, we've had the pleasure to lead them on tours to Central & then Eastern Europe. Their 2019 Tour to Great Britain added two more countries to their Sky High Sports bucket list - an impressive total of 9.
The beauty of combining your passion with your work is that many of the people we're fortunate to host on tour soon become firm friends. This is certainly the case with CSULB. Away from the tours, we've hosted their guys on holidays, our friends and family have travelled to Southern California & three of us have now proudly worn the Black & Amber on the field in one form or another.
The GB Tour was an action packed programme which took in Bath, London, Newcastle & Edinburgh. On the rugby front, the tourists had a high-quality day with Worcester Warriors that included a session with senior coaches on the main stadium pitch. The first tour match at Wells RFC (England's smallest city) followed a private audience with the Mayor & welcome by the Town Cryer. The third and final tour match was against Border Park RFC at the home of pro-team Newcastle Falcons, Kingston Park Stadium.
Off the pitch, the team had enjoyed a private dinner cruise on the Thames, competed in a Highland Games championship in Edinburgh & tackled a micro-brewery pub crawl of Newcastle.
DoR Jason Reynolds joined the Sky High Sports team in 2020 & will be spreading the word of what we offer to College & High School teams on the West Coast. If you're based in the US and would like to get the thoughts of someone who has experienced what we offer, Jason will be the man to talk to.
The tour has been amazing. This is our fourth tour with Sky High Sports and it didn't disappoint. It has been jam packed with things to do for the guys to keep them busy. We've had competitive games & its been a wonderful experience overall once again.
My personal highlight overall has been that we've been hitting these smaller towns & getting more of a cultural feel. I know the guys liked it a lot better when we were in Bath & Wells in the south then up to Newcastle and Corbridge in the north of England.
The experience has been great. The people have been really friendly, the clubs have been very receptive & the hospitality has been the best we've ever had.
Jason Reynolds | Director of Rugby
We all had an absolute blast in Dublin! My meat wagon was incredible! Harry was super too; we are grateful for his support and care with the boys (who all still believe he plays scrum half).
From the moment I started the process of planning the tour, Richie was attentive and authentic in dealing with me. He put together an number of options and costings, so we could fine tune what best suited our needs. Even though we were dealing with a 5 hour time difference, I always had access to Richie, for changes and/or clarifications. Once the initial planning was complete, the payment process was well organized and simple to follow. From our arrival in country to our departure, everything was professionally attended to. Jamie Dixon was an outstanding liaison. Any needed changes were done through consultation and went off as though originally planned. At the conclusion, I had 21 very happy tourists. There were no complaints at all. I highly recommend Richie, his associates and Sky High Sports.
We had a great tour, the kayaking trip was very enjoyable. Photographs provided were excellent!! Cycling Tour was also very worthwhile/informative and enjoyable, despite the weather!! The arranged fixtures and hospitality excellent and played in typical rugby spirit. Accommodation perfect both facilities and location. A very professionally run Sports Tour Company who obviously are on top of their game!!
From the early planning stages of the tour all the way through to arriving back in Bristol, Sky High Tours have been exceptional, I contacted Richie numerous times for guidance and advice, I always came off the phone glad that I had. The final itinerary was a once in a lifetime adventure for a lot of the Squad, everything was precisely planned. From the Thursday night training session at Amatori Parma, the Viadana game, the Ferrari Museum visit, the guided tour of Modena to the End of Tour meal at La Meta, all fantastic. Riian Mey and his wife at Amatori Parma were exceptional hosts, as were Viadana and Kelly Rolleston at Piacenza
The Tour was excellent & exactly what we needed. The match at Sondrio Rugby was set-up perfectly and the support during the tour was incredible.
Thanks to Sky High Sports for organising a fantastic tour, Bullericay RFC under 16's enjoyed every moment of it. we packed a lot of things into 5 days and the boys didn't stop laughing all of the days (and most of the nights). Antwerp is a beautiful place to visit and the Ghent tournament was a good addition to the week. Cant wait for next years
Coach was nice and early on the Thursday, check in onto the ferry was painless and the journey out was great (everyone in holiday mode). We won the first game at Almere 22-20 after leading 17 nil then losing 17-20 - we won it in the last few mins for a great start then spent a couple of hours at their place. The boys sang non stop all the way home and were absolutely loving it. I knew they'd come crashing down which they duly did when they had to get up at 8am the next morning for the bus ride to Tiel to play The Scrumboks. It was a red-hot day and we didn't look up for it but the boys were awesome to run out pretty convincingly in the end, 40 odd-17, followed by a jump into the canal behind the clubhouse ! We spent two hours sitting in the sun after and had a great time. Saturday night we booked a table for 50 at the Very Italian Pizza followed by a trip to the square and a sesh back at the Hostel. Pretty perfect trip really, everyone loved it. Thanks for all your help, so pleased we did it, the boys will never forget it.
Although we were thwarted on more than one occasion by the weather the team at Sky High were able to pull it out of the bag and the boys had a great time. York was hospitable and the club at Driffield again managed to find teams to give us a good game across all age groups.
As we arrived to Osmington Bay, the sheer view of the facility made everyone forget about the long trip, it's a wonderful location. From that moment onwards, everything went according to schedule, and we had the ideal weather every step of the way. Our teams played very interesting games against their English peers but also had ample opportunities to relax and get to know each other in a different set up. Coaches were surprised, after their return home, by the positive impact the trip has had on the overall attitude of the players during practice, especially in the younger categories. Everyone got home unharmed and full of great memories.
It was a great tour, it had everything a rugby-tour needs to have.
Bianka Laan
Firstly thank you very much for the tour. It was a great tour and we all had so much fun. I wanted you to thank the President of Macclesfield and all of his staff have welcomed us so well on Saturday.
For Newsport Salop I have no words, they surpassed everything we could expect. They are a five star club. Thanks also to the Sale Sharks (fantastic game) and for having us on Monday. They really liked some of our players!
The Hostel and Hotel in Chester so were very good for us. Maybe the Hostel was a little far and we ended up spending a lot of time on the Bus. The Driver Driver, Michael was very friendly and available. In the end it was a fantastic experience for everyone. Thank you very much,
We have toured as an age group with parents for 10 years, this is the second time we have used your organisation and we are using you for our next tour. This years tour was fantastic and the tourists feedback has been great. Sorry we can't provide images from tour

The tour it's self ran extremely well, the hostel was in a great location and the 7's tournament was great. It's was well organised with decent rugby being played. I would highly recommend Sky High Sports to anyone, they made the hassle of organising tour very simple and easy.

| This was my first time arranging a tour for a under 13 team. Richie and the team were excellent in terms of advice and guidance. At NO point were they pushy about using their firm, they had a relaxed attitude and tried their utmost to accommodate our needs, we left the booking late due to fixtures, Sky high sports sorted everything for us at last minute, arranging games with some established clubs in Lancashire and Cumbria. I will be booking next years tour and I guarantee that Richie and the team will be my first port of call after the excellent service I received this year. |
From the conception stage of the tour to the post tour stage, Richie and his team have worked with us closely to make this a memorable trip for everyone concerned. Despite being let down by one of the clubs 3 days before departure, Richie quickly found us an alternative fixture, managing to get us into a tournament at Eemland RFC who proved to be excellent hosts. We were equally made welcome at Gouda on the Sunday and were even invited to join their players in a plunge into the local canal which the players found quite refreshing after playing on a particularly hot afternoon. The accommodation was perfectly suited to our needs and even included hot evening meals as well as breakfast, ideal for constantly hungry teenagers. Finally JH coaches and in particular our driver Kenny Orr were perfectly suited for a rugby tour, nothing was to much bother for him and he genuinely enjoyed being on tour with us, even playing a part during the court session on the last night. All in all an excellent experience that all the lads will fondly remember for a long time to come.
The rugby while very hard against much older boys was great and it massively helped the boys after the tour. Also the hospitality of both French clubs was fantastic!
We were utterly impressed with the support from Sky High Sports & would love to use them again. The club facilities were excellent and club members very hospitable. The hotel location was amazingly central & was also absolutely perfect for our needs. I would strongly recommend Gent to other tour parties.

Between the 19th May and the 21st May 2018, the rugby club Bulldogs from Almere, The Netherlands went on tour to Cambridge, United Kingdom. The tour was booked through Sky High Sports Tours by Jamie Dixon and the whole weekend was flawless. After having St Ives Rugby Football club attend our rugby club in April 2017, Brigette Johnston (Tour Organizer) contacted St Ives to organise a tournament with them in 2018. Brigette Johnston then made contact with Sky High Sports Tours after reading some great reviews on their website and worked together with Jamie Dixon to organize the program. A couple of highlights from the whole weekend, the tournament at St Ives was fantastic and they did a great job hosting us during the whole day. The U16’s came home with a cup from the tournament which was the icing on top of the cake. On the Monday morning before we left to make our way home, we had a training session at Sacarcens with Sid Young, Charlie and Will. It was really cool and everyone who took part in this training session enjoyed it to the fullest and I do believe that there were a couple of tips our trainers took on, which I am sure will be used at our training sessions. We also got to take some photos of the Heineken cup that was won by Saracens last year. The young women on tour got special treatment and were very lucky to be able to change in the changing room from the men’s team. Amazing stuff. On behalf of the Rugby Club Bulldogs, I would like to thank Jamie at Sky High Sports Tours for such a fantastic tour and I promise you, we will be back. I highly recommend them as a sports tour company.
Day 1: The tour party of 45, including our 19 players, arrived at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City West on Friday 20th April for the start of our Edinburgh tour. The sun was shining and some of the party went on a trip to see the Murrayfield Rugby Stadium and much to the boys excitement a trip to the club shop for some early tour purchases! Later on we went for a meal out in the city centre and had a fun evening. Day 2: On the Saturday morning we had a Scottish breakfast although not sure many of the boys braved the haggis! Then we went to Livingston RFC. They were the perfect hosts in a lovely setting to play rugby. They had a bbq going as well as coffees, teas etc for those in need of extra sustenance! We met up with Sam Hidalgo-Clyne who is the captain of Edinburgh RFC and plays for Scotland. He did a Q&A session with the boys and then ran a high intensity pre-match warm up session. The boys loved it especially our scrum halves as that’s the position he plays. Sadly we have a few lads carrying injuries including one who managed to break his wrist playing for his school team the day before tour! We were pleased that they still came on tour as it is such a good experience for the boys and it helps them to bond as a team. Unfortunately our playing squad was down to 15 (and some of those were carrying injuries) so we had no subs and it was going to be a bit of an uphill struggle against a fired up Livingston team. We seem to have developed a habit for not starting games well but getting better in the second half. We were well behind at half time but battled back in the second half. Final score Livingston 26 Keighley 12. If we had started better then who knows. After the game the Livingston coaches had set up some fun games for the teams such as teams of 3 who each had to eat a dry cracker, then down a can of irn bru and put the empty can on their head. First team to do it wins. We may have lost the match but we restored pride by winning all three games! Livingston RFC were fantastic hosts and we can’t thank them enough. Later that afternoon we went to the Hopetoun Estate to compete in a Mini Highland Games. We were split into 4 clans and had to compete in a range of events such as Welly Wanging, Tossing The Caber, Rolling the Haggis and culminated in a tough tug of war. Brilliant fun for all the parents, coaches and players despite a few aches and pains afterwards!! Saturday night we went in to Edinburgh for meal and then returned to the Hotel. We had booked a large meeting room and the coaches and managers ran a Kangaroo Court. This was a lot of fun - can’t go in too many details as what happens on tour stays on tour except to say that despite some brave defence all the accused were found guilty as charged and forfeits and punishments were administered to be carried out for the remainder of tour!! Again we had fabulous weather and it had been a perfect day! Day 3: On the Sunday we went to North Berwick RFC. Another lovely setting to play rugby although it was a lot cooler. Definitely a game of two halves. First half we were poor and trailed 31-0 at Half Time (although in fairness 2 late nights and a patched up team didn’t help our preparations). The second half though we played really well and restored some pride in the shirt. Final score North Berwick 41 Keighley 24. Everybody really enjoyed the tour and are keen to do another next season. The boys were brilliant on and off the pitch and have done all the coaches, parents and sponsors proud and have represented Keighley RUFC really well. Thanks to Jamie Dixon and the team at Sky High Sports for organising a brilliant tour.
The girls loved the tour - a great team building experience and opened the coaches eyes to how rugby is played in The Netherlands!
Once again a successful tour organised by Sky High. Zorb Football, York YHA and Festival rugby made a perfect combination for kids, parents and coaches alike. Well done lads
Sky High took some of the pressure off organising the whole weekend, got us a better deal than we could have got ourselves. A decent location for the accommodation to stumble home to, coach company/driver used was always punctual and was a good laugh. Great company to work with overall.
Rugby Tour is a ritual performed year after year across the world whatever age you are. Therefore all kids and adults had a great time regardless of one or two very minor moans from some adults, which are soon forgotten when they see the smile on their kids at the end of tour and are asked "when are we going away on tour again!"
Being a rugby tour virgin with no experience I did look into many companies, but from the onset Harry and the team were first class...Their all inclusive options worked really well and saved me many man hours of organisation. Even when a hipcup arose which was no ones fault the team at Sky High were straight in contact and addressed the issue professional and swiftly, and in turn worked out for the better, great customer services! The tour itself was great fun and our festival hosts at Ashford RFC were brilliant! taking younger age groups I would highly recommend a day of activities then a day at a festival, worked wonders for team bonding. Thank you to Harry and the team first class, we are already looking at packages for our 2019 tour with Sky High Sports!
Despite some last minute logistical changes that were out of anyone's control we had a great tour and STs looked after us every step of the way... 30 very happy colts, with great memories in the bank, which is what touring is all about
It is always a gamble to work with a new partner. But in the end you build a bond and you can build on the new partner. Sky High Sports has certainly not disappointed us and is without a doubt a fine organization to work with.
We had a great tour……everyone had a great time. Everything went to plan the coach company was great, karting was great and the boys had a great time. The curry on Saturday night worked a treat.
Thanks Sky High Sports for organising an awesome Brighton tour for our U15 rugby team and dads. We had a great weekend from start to finish and took home some great memories for dads and lads alike.
The tour was a great success with all the lads really enjoying the experience - having the opportunity play a touring team from Portugal really topped the whole weekend off.
The service from start to finish was amazing, a really professional job from Rich and the team. We will definitely consider using them again in the future.
Tour was epic!
RC Hookers were great hosts, although the teams from Deflt were a no show - so our 4 x U10s teams played 3 each, winning them all. 97 tries for 11 against. We are a strong cohort and don’t lose many, maybe the Dutch won’t want us back to play them! Our mixed U7/8 team won 4 from 4 too.
It didn’t seem to spoil RC Hookers day as they sang and we did speeches etc.
The overnight ferry and the hostel were great. The beaches and the restaurants were great. The activity centre was amazing.
Thanks again for all the hard work.
We had a fantastic tour & thank you so much for your help with this.
Everything went to plan, our club hosts were very welcoming, restaurant was great as well as the hostel.
Border Park RFC are a club based in Northumberland. They don't play league Rugby & to fulfil fixtures, they invite players from across their region to fill the squad. A great example of keeping the club going in an innovative and fun way. We were delighted to send them as our maiden-tourists on our Secret-Tour idea in 2018.
The result was great, read DoR David Batey's comments to see how the Secret Tour can go down at your club.
The Tour was tremendous. The Secret-Tour idea worked so well & it just let us crack on with fundraising and getting people signed up. Will be definitely doing the same next year.
In the past, everyone has had an opinion and suggestions on where we should go. It has made it difficult to get something to please everyone. We got the tickets & information about a month before the tour and it ran really well.
Sky High Sports also stepped in and made some changes, at no extra cost, when Ryanair cancelled our outbound flight. We were re-routed with Aer Lingus and it actually made the tour even better as the times gave us more time in Cork.
A quality tour.
David Batey
The help and support was excellent and set us up to enjoy a hugely successful tour
Brantford Harlequins - of Ontario, Canada - enlisted Sky High Sports to run their Women's Rugby Tour in 2017. The tour coincided with the landmark 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup.
During the Tour, the team competed in two Women's Rugby Festivals, took in the Semi Final & Final & partook in some awesome R&R activities in the Ulster Countryside.
See the video above for a full review of the Tour & some kind comments from Coach Ken Courser.
This has been our clubs second tour with Sky High Sports. It's been the greatest tour. I know our U16's toured last year, we took the girls on tour this year & we're going next year with the U18's. It has been fantastic.
Redcar RFC from North Yorkshire reciprocated a previous visit from Cartagena Rugby in South-East Spain.
With their ambitions in place prior to our involvement, our first role was to clarify the Permission To Tour documents between the Yorkshire Rugby Football Union and the Spanish Federation. Following false information from the former, we were able to clarify that it is the host union who grants permission, all parties were able to proceed as planned.
The Hotel in the lively resort of Torrevieja was chosen & the game with Cartagena arranged. We added a round-robin with an Alicante & Valencia select team at the excellent Vilajoyosa Rugby Stadium in La Vila & booked the team into Spain's #1 Waterpark near Benidorm.
Martin & the team were a pleasure to work with & we were delighted to hear of the success of the tour upon their return.
Sky High Sports and Richie Gledson were superb from the start, we were touring Spain outside of the RFU season and had been informed that we would not be given permission to tour, Richie was able to provide confirmation from both our County and the Spanish RU that we would be able to tour at the time of year that we proposed to go.
The actual tour itself ran like clockwork, Sky High sent us a very detailed itinerary and everything ran exactly as planned. It seemed as though nothing had been left to chance.
The coach was where it was supposed to be at the time it was supposed to be there. The hotel was brilliant, the breakfasts were really good and it was less than five minutes from the beach.
The contacts at the clubs we played all made themselves known to us on arrival at the grounds, showed us our changing rooms and couldn't do enough to help us. We had a day at a water park as an end of tour treat for our U13 players, even this went seamlessly, we arrived, gave them our booking number and forty people were in, simple as that.
Our club chairman came with us and his text to me when we got back summed it up " I have been on many tours but none which have ran as smoothly and to the original itinerary!!!
Well done and thanks not only me from but also from RRUFC for giving all of the young children an experience they will never ever forget"
Martin Skidmore
Jamie our man at Sky High Sports, could not have been more helpful. Standards of games we played were perfect. From pick up to drop off everything Sky High Sports organised ran smoothly.
I found the whole experience of arranging the tour with Sky High and absolute delight. Richie in the first instance in giving us a reasonable price - this included accommodation, luxury coach travel, evening meals for each night we were away and the fixtures. All that was left to me to do was sort out the personnel, and even the late changes at our end were met with a 'no problem, just keep us informed' from their side.
Jamie, our tour 'rep', in Den Haag was fantastic, greeting us at the hostel and being available as and when needed. The tour could not have gone any better, even down to the weather. Our U16s, seasoned tourists, were blown away with the whole trip and found no difficulty in pronouncing it the best tour ever! Our U14s, embarking on their first tour, can only go downhill from here!
I would have absolutely no reservations in recommending Sky High for any upcoming rugby tour.
Vernon Rugby Junior Jackals from British Columbia, Canada, undertook a phenomenal tour of Spain and Portugal in the Spring of 2017.
The club was boosted by players from Nelson Rugby, also from BC, before tackling four clubs either side of the Iberian border.
The team combined a thorough Rugby Experience, which included training sessions at top facilities in Spain and Portugal as well as some serious extra-excursions.
They saw FC Barcelona beat Valencia CF 4-2 at the incredible Nou Camp, spent a day Kayaking on the Med, a Bicycle Tour of Barcelona, Zip-Wiring in Madrid, Bull-Fighting School in Seville & Surf School on the Atlantic Ocean at Lisbon.
A wonderful tour to an incredible country.
Great time. Well organised. We were very busy and got to see and do a lot. Spain is beautiful. The Tour Highlights were definitely the kayaking day on the Mediterranean, Surf School in Lisbon, the Bike Tour of Barcelona and the walking tours in Seville.
Mike Scheller | Tour Leader | Vernon Jackals Rugby
We took 29 Old Emanuel RFC Under 15's (and some parents) on tour to Devon for the weekend. A full itinerary was arranged, including two fixtures and tickets to the Exeter Chiefs vs Northampton Saints game. Everything ran smoothly the whole weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for Jamie at Sky High Sports, he knew exactly what we needed. A fantastic luxury coach with plenty of legroom was provided with a very helpful driver. We definitely recommend Sky High Sports for your next rugby tour!
BRUFC Youth section took to Den Haag in April for the first full youth tour in many years from Braintree. We were 96 in total and for such a large group, were accommodated well in Holland. Both clubs we played were hospitable and accommodating for such a large group and provided a variety of competition levels for our teams.
The accommodation was central and easy to manage the boys in with a short walk into the centre.
The dining experiences were excellent quality and for a hungry group, in adequate quantity for hungry growing boys. Our activities were varied and engaged the boys fully.
The whole weekend was deemed a success and we are very much looking forward to next season and our next adventure with Sky High Sports.
This age-group at Banbury RFC have toured with Sky High Sports each year since 2014. Tours to Dorset, Exeter & Bournemouth was followed up this spring with a trip to Cardiff.
One of our feature Destinations in 2017, we were able to really showcase the tour to our friends from Oxfordshire.
The Tour Highlight was of course playing a Tour Match on the iconic Cardiff Arms Park main pitch. This was pushed hard with the awesome White Water Centre in Cardiff Bay & of course a behind-the-scenes visit to the Principality (nee Millennium) Stadium.
This was our 4th Tour with Sky High Sports, and yet again another superb Rugby weekend,
Our group were extremely well looked after by our hosts Rhiwbina RFC & Llandaff RFC.
The true ethos of grass roots rugby was shown by both teams, and it made our tour an absolute success. We cannot compliment them enough for the great rugby and awesome hospitality.
Great experience for the lads to play at the Arms park, White water rafting was also thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Big thank you to Jamie and the rest of the team, for making it all possible.
Mike Moller | Tour Leader | Banbury RFC
Once again we had a fantastic tour with SkyHigh -Harry and Richie provided friendly, helpful advice and set up a brilliant tour that all the lads (and parents) loved. We will definitely use you guys again! Thank you
The U8 group from Tynedale RFC enlisted Sky High Sports to manage their first tour as an age-group. Our 1-night 'Mini's in the City' range was discussed & the group decided on York. Always a great base for younger groups, the city didn't disappoint.
The team are already looking to book something similar in 2017 & we look forward to seeing them through their touring careers as Mini & Junior players!
We took 23 x 7 and 8 year old kids on our first ever tour. Richie gave us great help and advice in setting up the tour and got us through some difficulties with the club and RFU.
The first day we played Morley at Leeds which was superb, bright sunshine on order, very hospitable hosts, good food and clubhouse.
We then moved to Hotel at York which was very nice good rooms etc. Saturday night, we went bowling and to Chiquitos - both were organised in advance by Sky High Sports and were way above our expectations, the kids absolutely loved this.
Back to hotel for presentations and some free time. sunday we travelled to Malton rfc which was a nice venue and again had bright sunshine. We then stopped at Hamsterley Forest on the way back which was perfect a top hour break outside for the kids.
SERFC's tour to Weymouth in February 17 was a great success because none of the kids wanted to go home on the Sunday!!
Rugby Club San Martin from Buenos Aires joined us in Europe in February 2017 for an incredible 3-week tour which saw them visit Dublin, Edinburgh, London, Paris & Barcelona.
The team compete at the top of Tier-2 in Buenos Aires Club Rugby, no mean feat. As such, they required a high level in terms of training facilities & opposition.
We arranged fixtures with Scottish Premiership team Watsonian FC in Edinburgh & National League Division Two Side Tynedale RFC in England. The first game was played at Meggetland Stadium, a venue used by Edinburgh Rugby in their Pro12 campaign in 2016/2017.
Accommodations were city centre Hostels which provided the team with great locations to undertake some serious sightseeing during the tour. It also allowed us to get them a great schedule for their budget.
It was a huge achievement for us to successfully execute such a large-scale tour, but one we look forward to repeating many times in the future.
All services where given as it were promise, we got some extra meals, and we had an awesome time!
Great fun as always and some brilliant rugby to watch, when the boys are tired and they play as a real team after being together for longer than usual. Coming from all different schools.
We took two age groups U14 and U15, they had an amazing experience and since returning parents/carers have informed us that their boys cannot stop talking about it. As well as great rugby it as acted as a huge team and club bonding exercise. I would recommend it to all.
Richie and the team sure know how to organise a rugby tour. Our trip to York was organised with expertise and a real attention to detail. Nothing was too much bother for the guys. The trip was a huge success and all of our touring party commented on how successful it had been. Thanks guys.
Newcastle West RFC U15 had a wonderful trip to Chester. They trained with Sale Sharks, who were good to us all weekend, played two matches against local teams and visited the Chill Factore. To top all this we also got to attend a Sale Sharks game. We would like to thank Sky High Sports for their help, professionalism from the very beginning of the planning stage right up to the conclusion of the tour. They made everything so much easier and more enjoyable for all who travelled. A special thanks to Jamie for all his hard work throughout the whole process.
Colchester departed for Amsterdam with a mammoth group of U16 Players and Parents in Spring 2017.
The tour had been a long time coming. With Spain the original venue of choice ruled out due to rising flight prices, we recommended several Coach & Ferry Tours & Amsterdam proved by far the popular choice.
The team visited our friends at RC The Dukes & RC Haagsche for the tour games, enjoyed a unique orienteering course via pedalo in Amsterdam and picked up some excellent souvenirs at a Cheese & Clog Farm outside of the city - don't raise an eyebrow, it is class!
Kim & the group were a pleasure to work with & we hope to see them on tour again.
Richie was absolutely brilliant in finding us a tour to suit our needs, we knew exactly what we wanted he adapted to our ever changing requirements.
Sky High Sports gave us the perfect U16 tour.
Amsterdam was a great location and 67 of us travelling together by coach and overnight ferry worked well. The dutch rugby clubs were very hospitable.
It was nice that Jamie came along to check on things, and he was right about the cheese and clog factory, well worth a visit! The parents enjoyed it as much as the boys and would strongly recommend Sky High Sports and Amsterdam for touring.
Kim Waters | Tour Leader | Colchester RFC
Tour was well organized. Would definitely recommend Sky High Sports
Using Sky High Tours, for our training camp to Newcastle made the organization of the camp very easy! Everything was ready on hand when it was needed. The accommodation and restaurants chosen by Sky High were exactly what a performance club needed to ensure that the athletes were able to refuel and recover from a hard days training. The staff were always just a phone call away and very helpful in solving any issues prior to the camp.
The youth hostel was perfect for our needs and the staff were more than helpful. The rain spoiled play on Saturday so we made use of the local pool. Sundays games at Kirkby Lonsdale were fantastic and in the most beautiful spot with fantastic weather.
Thanks for organising!
The tour was superb, the boys enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was very nice and the the two hosting rugby clubs were very welcoming and accommodating and made the tour !!!
Team Northumbria enlisted Sky High Sports to prepare a training camp ahead of their assault on the maiden BUCS Super League in 2016/2017. The Rugby Union team travelled alongside the TN Rugby League outfit who remain one of the strongest Student League programmes in the UK.
This custom-built itinerary included an excellent 4* Beach-Front Hotel, access to a high-performance Gym a short walk away & a Rugby Facility which plays home to Andalucian Rugby Club Axarquia. The beach offered a great deal of further activity both on and off the clock whilst the range of local restaurants allowed the team to be well catered for during the week.
Away from the training, the team enjoyed a day at the Torre Del Mar Waterpark & a challenging Gorge Run in the Nerja Mountains.
An exceptional Tour, which will sit alongside any warm-weather option available.
"The recent trip to Velez Malaga, for our joint Rugby Union and Rugby League preseason summer camp surpassed all expectations.
Transfers, hotel arrangements and facility bookings were well thought out and effortless for the players and staff alike. The location was ideal, away from the usual tourist attractions and allowed us to focus on the tasks in hand and concentrate on the programme we had planned in detail beforehand.
I have no hesitation in recommending Sky High Sports and their Andalucia programe to other sporting groups at the University and beyond."
Mark Richard
High Performance Lead
''We recently went to Malaga for a preseason camp with Northumbria University Rugby League and Rugby Union clubs. Everything was organised, planned and executed by Sky High Sports and I couldn't of been more happy with the whole experience.
My players had the time of their lives in what was a perfect location with great facilities near by.
As the Rugby League Head Coach and one of the leaders for the trip my life was made extremely easy by the outstanding support and planning given to me by Richie and his team.
I would absolutely recommend Sky High Sports to anyone wanting to plan any kind of sports tour and will be forever grateful for their efforts during our trip.''
Jason Payne
Head of Rugby League
We couldn't be happier with the way Sky High Sports has planned our trip and supported us whilst we have been here.
Following an unbelievable fundraising effort, Percy Park RFC U12 embarked on an ambitious tour to the Netherlands in 2015.
Staying in Noordwijk, the team visited our friends at RC The Dukes for a tournament & RC The Hookers for a tour match the next day.
As well as the games, we lined up restaurant meals & a night of 10-Pin Bowling.
The tour was brilliant. The tournament at The Dukes was ideal and the Hotel was perfect for our needs. Many thanks for your help, it was great!

Berkhamsted School have travelled three times to the North-East for their Pre-Season. The team are great supporters of the programme, sighting the unique opposition at the Tynedale RFC festival as a great attraction.
The team always train hard, making the most of the S&C facilities at Northumbria University & for the first time in 2016, finished their training programme with a Captains Run on the Premiership pitch at Kingston Park Stadium.
“I thought the Festival and Tour were a great experience for our players. The hostel is great and the facilities at the University were very useful. Having the Sky High Sports team on hand to answer any questions and show us around was also very useful and Richard did a great job of this. The boys loved the trip to Hawick to watch the Falcons play Edinburgh. We will be bringing our senior and possibly our U15 squads to the Festival next year as the whole experience was great preparation for the season ahead.”
Ben Mahoney | Master I/C | Berkhamsted School |
Kings College Taunton have travelled twice to the North East for their Pre-Season Camp. Making the most of the facilities at Northumbria University & Kingston Park Stadium, the group returned home fired up for an assault on the new season.
Their visit was broken up with a round robin match with Newcastle RGS & the Northumberland County U18 team.
“We wanted to use our tour as an opportunity for a pre-season training camp in order to help with team bonding and quality practice. Newcastle is a great city and the players enjoyed social aspects of dinner out in the town and the Metro Centre.
The facilities we were able to access were tremendous. Sports Central is a great environment to bring young players in to and the chance to meet professional athletes and see a premiership club in action were the icing on the cake. This is our second visit to the North East with Sky High Sports and the level of attention and support given by the staff was outstanding. Everything ran extremely smoothly and we will certainly be back.”
Nick Gresswell | Master I/C | Kings College Taunton
The Pangbourne College group partook in the Newcastle Training Camp. The team made the most of the exceptional facilities at Northumbria University & Newcastle Falcons. They competed in the brilliant festival at Tynedale RFC and caught the Newcastle Falcons Vs Edinburgh Rugby pre-season match at Hawick RFC.
“An awesome four days of pre-season training and highly recommend it to any other school or club. The organisation of the four days and the training facilities were top class. The early morning gym and pool session with four hours of training was the perfect way to start the season. The morning beach session was a highlight alongside the evening activities in particular the all you can eat meat buffet and Newcastle Falcons game. Many thanks to Richie and the Sky High Sports team and we will certainly be returning next year.”
Charlie Sutton | Master I/C | Pangbourne College

Sam Cowling | Tour Leader | Diss RFC
We had a fantastic time on tour.
The room set up when we got there was great, set away from other groups so we could be a little noisy if we wanted to. The staff were friendly and polite, and our rep Jack was an absolute cracking lad who couldn't do enough for us.
The Rugby itself the teams we played virtually matched us in skill which made for some great rugby. The hosting teams were exceptional. Food at the accommodation was good, no one went hungry.
The evening activities were great. All in all though a fantastic tour.
Hannah Founds | Tour Leader | Wirral RFC
"A seamless experience from beginning to end.
All players and other tourists were impressed with every bit of the tour and all arrangements. Mattie, our coach driver was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, the ferry experience was an added bonus as the lads thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodation was just what was needed for this type of tour and age group. Best of all was the rugby fixtures as arranged by Richie - Gouda were very welcoming and accommodating, a great club in a fantastic setting, and the Hilversum Tournament was well organised, with some very competitive teams. We watched some fantastic rugby!
Thanks to Richie and his team, well done!"
Debra Edmundson | Tour Leader | Sunderland RFC

Thanks to Jamie and his team for all your help!"
Jill Paterson | Tour Leader | Livingston RFC
"Having been given the unenviable task to organise a tour for 18 boys and their dads, filled me with dread. However I shouldn't have worried as Sky High Sports took the stress away from me.
The tour weekend couldn't have been better and everything worked like clockwork. The teams that the boys played against were of equal competitive standard, the accommodation was great value for money and the dads loved being able to venture into the City in the evenings. The mountain biking was an unforgettable experience for everyone and definitely helped cure some hangovers and the boys experience at Allianz Park will be with them for a long time.
Overall the tour was superb and couldn't have asked for more!
Fab job Richie!"
Emma Burton
Emma Burton | Tour Leader | Wymondham RFC

Mark Higgins | Tour Leader | Shotton Steel RFC
"It was a tour with a difference as the team building activities were something else other than just rugby to do.
The all inclusive option ( Travel and food included) made the tour easier for all."
Katarina Kinch | Tour Leader | South Leicester RFC
Our old friends at Wymondham RFC have travelled regularly since 2010. This was the first tour for this particular age group who wanted to avoid following the footsteps of their predecessors.
Travelling from Norfolk, there are only a handful of locations within striking distance on a Coach. The team went for a Tour to North London, staying at Lee Valley - an area enriched with the 2012 Olympic Games facilities.
As well as catching Saracens Vs Leicester Tigers at Allianz Park, the tourists visited the Olympic Park & experienced the exceptional Mountain Biking circuit on offer there.
The team returned
"We found the tour far exceeded our expectations both in terms of the boys and parents.
It was excellent value for money and fun packed with some excellent rugby matches arranged for the boys to be tested."
Emma Burton | Tour Leader | Wymondham RFC
"A great city, good accommodation, packed itinerary. welcoming host clubs and two wins!!
Craig Stockley | Tour Leader | Sutton & Epsom RFC
"Oxford is a beautiful city and highly recommended for a youth tour. The opportunity to watch and meet Newcastle Falcons and London Irish players was an experience the boys will never forget."
Lee Hogarth | Head of Sport | Newcastle School for Boys
"Overall we had a great time.
Both matches were good and well matched. Clubs, especially Ballynainch, were very welcoming. No tour activities were great - Ulster match on Friday night, ghost tour and Titanic tour - kept adults and children amused. Belfast was a much nicer city than most of us had anticipated.
Hotel was excellent."
Bill McLeod | Tour Leader | Tynedale RFC
Bowden RUFC from Cheshire wanted to finish their time a a team, prior to embarking on senior rugby, with a tour to Italy. The tour needed to fit a certain budget & avoid exam time.
Venice in February was chosen.
The team enjoyed a coaching clinic with Benetton Treviso players at their Ghirada training base, spent time cruising on the Grand Canal & sightseeing in Venice & played out a tight game in a downpour at Venezia Mestre Rugby.
A great tour in a superb Rugby location.
"We had a clear vision of what we wanted and Richie worked hard to make it happen and made suggestions to enhance the tour.
He was efficient and easy to deal with and was unflappable despite the odd inevitable hiccup."
Chris Ronan | Tour Leader | Bowden RUFC
"Richie was great in organising and communicating to us all the ins and outs of the tour which was a memorable experience for the boys."
Brewster Barclay | Tour Leader | Ely RFC
"The tour manager made our tour. We have used tour companies before and not had great experiences and felt very short changed.
Sean was great. Always there to help and support. The kids had a great time (as did the parents) The fact that Sean drove 4 hours to come and meet us on a sunday morning was fantastic and it was great top put a face to the voice.
Thanks to you all for making our tour so successful!"
Mary Costello-Smith | Tour Leader | Hoylake RFC
Terenure RUFC from Dublin had big plans for their U12 Tour in 2016. After early discussions about our featured tours for U12 teams, we agreed on Gent as a destination.
A safe, friendly and stunning location, ideal for family based groups is only enhanced by its locality to Brussels for the Rugby and in this instance the Airport.
Entry to Oceade Waterpark & Mini Europe Theme Park followed a tournament alongside three Belgian Hosts before Gent Rugby took on the Irish Tourists on the final day of the tour.
Another reason to keep Gent high on your priority list for your next tour!
"A wonderful tour. Very well organised. The hosts where pleasant and accommodating. Gent is wonderful place. Amadeus was great. Richie was excellent."
Well done!!!
Ray O'Connor | Tour Leader | Terenure RUFC
Braintree RUFC from Essex wanted one tour for their U13, U14, U15 & U16 to travel together. With such a large number of tourists & eight matches required for the trip, it needed a great destination to host.
The newly opened 5* Youth Hostel in Cardiff provided a great base from which to launch their assault on the Welsh Capital. The undoubted highlight was the games we scheduled at the iconic Cardiff Arms Park.
The flexible nature of their all-weather surface allowed us to invite some local teams along to tackle the tourists. We took care of the refereeing, catering and logisitcs around the games & were delighted to hear they worked so well for Andrea and the group.
Braintree followed up their tour to Cardiff with a venture to Den Haag in 2017.
"Everyone enjoyed the tour and our activities. The rugby was brutal but playing at Arms Park was a real privilege for us and our hosts. The hostel was very good accommodation."
Andrea Prout | Tour Leader | Braintree RUFC
Bede Academy is located in Blyth, Northumberland. They enlisted Sky High Sports to manage their ambitious Girls Hockey & Boys Rugby Tour to the Netherlands.
Having planned School Tours to the Netherlands on a similar basis in the past, we were confident of great results. Their 'base' of choice was on the coast at Noordwijk, a great location for younger groups & school groups looking to keep the team away from city-centre distractions.
The fixtures on both counts worked well & the logistics of the DFDS Newcastle-Amsterdam ferry was once again a highlight. A great group & one we look forward to seeing depart again shortly.
"A very well organised and enjoyable tour from start to finish."
Simon McAree | Head of Sport | Bede Academy
Ahead of RWC2015, the RFU launched an initiative called The Unity Project, which aligned developing Rugby Countries with Constituent Bodies in England. Our home County of Northumberland was partnered with Spain - a fact that we soon made the ambitious tourists at Tynedale RFC aware of.
The tour fixtures were against the Catalonia Provisional XV & Sant Cugat Rugby, the national U16 champions in Spain - yes, National Champs at U16.
Both matches were tight, and the team were enthralled with the welcome, the opposition and organisation of the tour.
As a group, this was the fourth tour with Sky High Sports. They end their touring tradition as a team in 2017 with an U16 last hurrah to the Netherlands.
Our links remain strong with Spain. Do enquire if you wish to test yourselves against the best in the fastest-growing Rugby Country in Europe.
"Brilliant experience for all!
Barcelona is a great place, the rugby is growing fast, the standard was high, friendship & hospitality excellent. Hostel was ideal.
Providing a 'tour guide' was extremely helpful!!"
Graham Harrison | Team Manager | Tynedale RFC
Tynedale RFC U11 embarked on their second tour with Sky High Sports in 2016 & matched the success of their 2015 Tour to The Lake District with an equally enjoyable trip to York.
Fixtures with Malton & Norton RFC and a round-robin at Harrogate RUFC led up to a child-friendly Paintball session in the Yorkshire countryside.
Tynedale will be back on the tour-bus again in 2017, this time crossing the border and heading to Edinburgh.
"An excellent weekend away enjoyed by boys and parents alike. Great for team bonding and playing rugby against different teams. Sky High Sports take all the hassle out of the organisation."
Laura Sykes | Tour Leader | Tynedale RFC
Morpeth RFC Colts followed up their previous SHS tours to Gent & Den Haag with a visit to Antwerp.
We'd probably call Antwerp 'Belgium for Adults,' the young lads were more than happy with the destination & the feedback was excellent.
"This is the third time Morpeth Colts have toured through Sky High Sports and our first tour to Antwerp.
During the build up to the tour we were kept informed of progress being made in relation to fixtures and contact details at the two clubs.
The coach company and driver used were excellent and very professional. The journey over on the ferry added to the adventure of the tour and was enjoyed by all concerned.
The hostel in Antwerp was very modern and wholly appropriate for our needs, serving basic but wholesome food and being well positioned in the centre of the city. We played Antwerp and Mechelen, both clubs were fully prepared for our arrival and were excellent hosts."
Rob Parkinson | Team Manager | Morpeth RFC
Malton & Norton as a club have been a great partner of ours for a number of years now. Whether it is as hosts for our tourists into Yorkshire or as travellers themselves, they are always a great club to work with.
The team travelled to London, played games at Eton Manor & Finchley RFC and hit up Allianz Park for the Saracens Vs Wasps match.
Finchley RFC incidentally will be touring with us in 2017 on the back of hosting M&N in April.
"The tour was great fun. Sky High took away all the hassle, and organised a great tour.
The kids love it!"
Simon Atkinson | Coach | Malton & Norton RFC
Macclesfield RUFC hadn't toured as a group before their 2016 venture East to Yorkshire.
The comments below were great to see following their venture which included entry to the Doncaster RUFC Mini Rugby Festival, plenty Outward Bound activities & the superb support from our partners at the adventure centre.
A really strong destination. One of our favourites.
"I'm extremely grateful to Sean for all his help organising the tour-the lads had a ball, as did the parents. Having him there on the weekend was a real bonus and everyone commented on the personal touch.
I would definitely recommend Sky High Sports to our other Mini teams."
Liz Jarret | Tour Leader | Macclesfield RFC
'Stew-Mel' travelled to Dublin on their annual tour in 2016. The tour centred on the mouth-watering Leinster Vs Munster match which was held at the AVIVA Stadium in Dublin.
They played a round robin fixture with their hosts Wanderers RFC and Pwellheli RFC who were also on tour from Wales.
The tourists were also the latest group to enjoy 'My Meat Wagon' restaurant in Dublin. Right up there in our top-5 on-tour eateries.
"Jamie at Sky High Sports was brilliant. From the first conversation to right up to when we were leaving nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to help and provide support and answers to our many questions!
Would definitely recommend (and have done so already) Sky High Sports to other clubs looking to tour."
Keith Thompson | Head Coach | Stewarts Melville RFC
Sutton & Epsom RFC are another advocate of our excellent Mini Adventure weekends. This, their second tour, was an absolute hit.
Norfolk is a great location for teams travelling from the South-East. Once the brief stint on the M25 is overcome, it is plain sailing to the Norfolk Coast.
As the video below shows, the tour was a great success & is a showcase of how exciting, inclusive and well-organised our Adventure weekends are.
In 2017, S&E will be on tour again, this time to Dorset.
"The 185 people from SERFC that went on tour to Norfolk in March 2016 had a great time and the organisation of Sky High Sports helped with this."
John Potts | Tour Leader | Sutton & Epsom RFC

Darlington RFC from Co. Durham embarked on their third tour with Sky High Sports. They followed up their successful trip to Lincolnshire in 2014 & the Lake District in 2015 with a hop across the North Sea to Amsterdam.
Being based in the North-East means a trip on the Newcastle-Amsterdam ferry is a right of passage for Rugby tourists, so we were delighted for Darlington to do their duty.!
Given the age and the location, there weren't many tour stories came back, but it was a big thumbs-up from players and parents alike.
"Sky High Sports really do take the stress and hassle out of planning a tour!"
Kendra Corney | Tour Leader | Darlington RFC
A real stand-out tour for us. Parma has long-since been on our radar as a magnificent city to visit. The Rugby on offer at Zebre & our link with ex-Italian Captain Marco Bortolami was utilised heavily on this trip.
Staying at a Holiday Park in the hills nearby Parma, the team played two games either side of a coaching session with Bortolami himself, Italian second-row George Biagi & no other than All Black centurion & World Cup Winner Mils Muliaina. Mils was coming to the end of his stint at Zebre & was a really exceptional coach.
200+ International Caps & a RWC Winner coaching your team? No problem!
"The tour was voted as the best yet. The side has toured since they were 8 years old and have toured all 6 nations."
Charles Wrightson | Team Manager | Malton & Norton RFC
Our old friends at Wymondham RFC have travelled regularly with us since 2010. This was the second tour for this age group.
Having toured London in 2015 & not wanting to follow in the footsteps of other age groups at Wymondham, our list of destinations was running short.
Not one to shy away, we did our due diligence & developed a tour itinerary in Milton Keynes for the tourists. This tied in brilliantly with an AVIVA Premiership game at Northampton Saints & made the most of the excellent sports facilities available in the city. The non-rugby activity of choice was Sledging at the Xscape Centre, which came highly recommended!
"This is the second time we have used Sky High Sports for our tours and both times they have been brilliant.
They have worked like clockwork and the attention to detail has been phenomenal and all at great value for money.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sky High Sports to anyone and everyone!"
Emma Burton | Group Leader | Wymondham RFC
The 2016 Tour for Melrose Mini's was nearly two-years in the making. It was a pleasure to work with a high-profile club with an evidently well organised group of coaches.
Our Mini-Adventure weekends were soon chosen & after whittling down the options, Lincolnshire was the location of choice. This centre is available upon request only & isn't one we promote via our website or brochures.
With such time, we were able to pull together some good round-robins at local clubs and make some suitable provisions to break up the long journey from the Scottish Borders.
A great tour.
"Jamie did an excellent job on calming me down over the surreal machinations of the RFU and was very efficient at sorting out issues brought on by travel delays during the tour.
Without him being at the end of the phone, it could have been a stressful weekend."
David Peace | Lead Coach | Melrose RFC
Teams from Morpeth RFC, based in Northumberland, have toured with us annually since we started in 2009. We're always keen to ensure their support isn't unappreciated, this tour to a banker-destination of York was another hit.
The club expressed wishes to compete at Harrogate RUFC festival, one of the better known festivals on the circuit. Staying nearby in York provided the tourists with a safe, enjoyable and pleasant environment to launch their assault on the festival.
See you on tour again!
"We wanted to play in the Harrogate RUFC Festival and play a bit of rugby on the Saturday.
Richie made all the arrangements and sorted the accommodation. We just had to turn up and play!
The kids thoroughly enjoyed it and the tour was definitely worth it!"
Barry Ayliffe | Coach | Morpeth RFC
Tynedale RFC were looking for an active & affordable tour in April 2016 which wouldn't result in hours on a bus. York has been a popular location for our tourists for some time now, and with the tourists being based near Newcastle, it was a perfect solution.
The tour, included a fixture at York RFC, which is a hop over the fence from our preferred accommodation was a big hit.
We look forward to seeing Scott and the boys on tour again.
"The tour from start to finish was spot on. Everything was organised well in advanced, to precision.
All transport and timings were flawless as the itinerary suggested. A well organised, pleasant and relaxing tour, enjoyed by all"
Scott Ferguson | Lead Coach | Tynedale RFC U13
On their maiden tour as a group, the mini's from Kirkby Lonsdale RFC in Cumbria crossed the border into Yorkshire for one of our Mini Adventure Rugby Tours.
As well as enjoying all the outward-bound activities at the South Yorkshire location, the team competed at Doncaster RFC's fantastic Mini Rugby Festival on the Bank Holiday weekend.
"We were extremely happy with service received from Sky High Sports. Everything was taken into consideration, to the smallest detail. The tour was action packed and very enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend SkyHigh Sports as a Rugby tour company."
Lyndsay Arundale | Tour Leader | Kirkby Lonsdale RFC
Ashby RFC Mini's returned on their fourth tour with Sky High Sports in 2016. Having travelled to Shropshire, Dorset and South Yorkshire in the past, we were delighted to welcome them up to our home patch.
The team have been a great advocate of our exceptional 'Mini Adventure' weekends & took in the Northumbrian option. Following a full-day of outward bound activity on the Saturday, the team competed at the excellent Mini Rugby Festival staged at Darlington RFC.
A great tour for one of our oldest clients.
"We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.
Our highlights of the tour must include the Mini's festival which the kids loved"
Gill Haluch | Tour Leader | Ashby RFC Mini's
Old Elthamians RFC visited Exeter at the end of their season. As well as Tickets to Exeter Chiefs Vs Wasps, the tourists added Paintball and a couple of tough games in a real Rugby Heartland to their programme.
The Jury's Inn in Exeter was the base for the tour & we combined some self-drivers and coach hire to ensure everyone was suitably transported.
We thoroughly enjoyed working with the club & look forward to seeing them on tour in the future.
"Our first venture away from the Minis was a great success - Richie was amazing and met every teak we made prior to the tour.
Exeter was a great destination. We can't wait to tour again, and hope it to be with Sky High Sports. We'd happily recommend Sky High to anyone."
Tanya Moyse | Tour Leader | Old Elthamians RFC
Given their heavy league & cup schedule, the boys from Hullensians were limited to touring outside of the RFU Season. With fixtures not available, we came up with the suggestion of taking in the London 7's at Twickenham.
The end result was a superb end-of-season party for the tourists.
For those who haven't experienced the Sevens at HQ, we thoroughly recommend it. One of the best Rugby Parties in GB.
"The tour went very smoothly, the accommodation was excellent and the tournament was brilliant. The kids loved it."
Duane Jones | Tour Leader | Hullensians RFC
Caerphilly Tigers embarked on their third Tour with Sky High Sports in the Spring of 2016. They followed up tours to Shropshire and Newcastle, with a visit to Paris.
As well as competing in a Girls Rugby U18 festival, the team caught the Racing Metro Vs Stade Francais match, spent the day at Euro Disney and of course had the time to see and explore the wonderful city of Paris.
A great mix of quality Rugby and quality touring.
"Richie and the Sky High team have always given us an excellent service and we would recommend their services."
Jo Thomas | Tour Leader | Caerphilly RFC Tigers

Ayr RFC were our maiden tourists to South Africa in 2013. Always one of the most successful Youth Rugby set-ups in Scotland, the club had big ambitions to put their U18's to the test on a serious Rugby Tour at the end of the season.
The Tour, for the most part, was based in Durban. From here, the team played some great games, had coaching clinics with the Sharks, took in a Sharks Vs Crusaders match in Super Rugby, visited a Zulu Village & went on Safari whilst staying in some luxurious game lodges.
A true once-in-a-lifetime tour & one we were proud to facilitate.

"The Ayr U18 tour to South Africa was a once in a life time opportunity with memories that will last a life time.
The service we received from Sky High Sports and guide was amazing. The flexibility during planning and for last minute request on tour was greatly appreciated.
This was a well planned and well executed tour and we wont hesitate to use Sky High Sports again.
THANK YOU"

Shippensburg University from Pennsylvania, USA visited started their tour in Edinburgh & ended up in the party city of Newcastle. Bolstered with players from Drexel University & Bloomsburg University, the team played games against Scottish Champions Murrayfield Wanderers & the evergreen Northumbria University girls team in Newcastle.
A Rugby experience included a guest coaching session with Scotland Internationalist Tim Visser & a behind-the-scenes tour of Murrayfield Stadium was complimented with White Water Rafting in the Scottish Highlands and Go-Ape in the Northumbrian Countryside.
A great tour.
"The tour was great. Everything that we did we had fun with. It was an once in a lifetime opportunity and everyone who went on the trip is still talking about it."
Laura Phillips | Tour Leader | Shippensburg University
Without a doubt, one of the most challenging yet rewarding tours we have held here in the UK.
Whilst Rugby is our a-game, we have the resources and knowledge to execute high-quality Cricket Tours. The MC Lions Tour is testament to that.
Over the course of 19-days, the team played 6 games and partook in a heavy training schedule at the exceptional Cricket Scotland facilities in Edinburgh.
The team played matches at some of the most opulent venues in Scottish Cricket. The highlight on the field came with a last-ball victory against Manderston Cricket Club in the Scottish Borders. Watching a team of local Farmers play some city-slickers from Mumbai & take it to the last delivery was a real case of two-worlds colliding. Only sport could create this.
The team played at the foot of Bamburgh Castle, on the Isle of Bute & caught the Scotland Vs Afghanistan match at Stirling.
A Tour for the memory bank & we look forward to seeing the Lions on European soil in the future.
"I only have positive things to say about Sky High Sports. Our ground-breaking tour to Scotland was a truly magical experience. Richie arranged an incredible programme for the team. It was everything we dreamt about."
Mohit Chaturvedi | Tour Leader | The MC Lions
Our old friends at CSU Long Beach left the Californian sunshine for their second European Tour with Sky High Sports in the summer of 2015.
Following their Italian Tour in 2013, the team again opted to stay away from the beaten track.
A visit to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf & Gent was the programme, with games against top-level club sides from the Netherlands and Belgium. Two narrow defeats for the tourists were disappointing, but the tight-scorelines were testament to the accurate pitching of teams from other sides of the world.
Long Beach are returning to Europe for their third tour in 2017. They'll visit the Czech Republic, Slovakia & Hungary. Testament enough to our exceptional service.
"We have a rich tradition of touring & have done so for a number of years. The service we receive from Sky High Sports far outweighs the previous tours & the two we have done have been without doubt, the best ever.
Our second successful tour with Sky High Sports. Overall it was an awesome experience! Spakenburg has the best rugby pitch I have ever seen. It was the perfect emerald green carpet. Jamie needs a proper flag like the Japanese tour guides. Gent was my favourite by far. A lot of the guys said Dusseldorf was their favourite. Amsterdam is Amsterdam. It was a lot like Las Vegas, three days is enough. I'm spreading the word of Sky High Sports to all of the teams in our league. You guys are on our website and linked in the tours section."
Jason Reynolds | Head Coach | Long Beach State
Oakville Crusaders of Ontario, Canada travelled to GB in 2015 to coincide with the Rugby World Cup 2015. A year in the making, the tour consisted of fixtures against County Champion clubs in Dorset & Wilts and Yorkshire. The touring party, U17 and U16, played a total of six games, winning three.
The tour also included tickets to two Rugby World Cup matches, a Guest Coaching Session with two Welsh Rugby Internationals, a 'day in the life of a Pro-Rugby Player' in Bath & White Water Rafting in the 'Valleys.'
The tour started in Cardiff, moved onto historic Bath & finished in the stunning city of York.
"I want to say what a brilliant experience we’ve had with Sky High Sports. The whole experience has been very good.
We started off with looking at what we wanted to do for our junior tour, and looked at if we had enough contacts in the UK to do it ourselves, and we probably do, but we didn’t want to organise all the logistics.
Everything came together superbly well. This company has done a brilliant job for us.
I just love the way it has all come together so smoothly, we’ve had a great experience, I really feel it is value for money and what I am going to take back to Canada is the recommendation that when other people are going to tour the UK, this is what they’re going to give and these are the guys that can do it.
I’m so pleased and happy with what we’ve done, so thank-you, very much.
The hosting was terrific, the competition was terrific. The boys grew as players and as people. They were immersed in the Rugby Culture, and that is something we wanted the boys to have. We didn’t want them just to come over here and play Rugby, we wanted them to come over here and understand the sport. That’s what I believe we have and certainly after this tour, we have lifelong Rugby Players.
The Sky High Sports Tour was one of the highlights for our boys this season. We learnt a lot, I think the guys grew up as players and got a lot more skills from the Rugby & the extra-curricular activities were fantastic & the organisation was superb.
Excellent Tour, Definitely would recommend it to any other Canadian Club out there. Excellent!"

The 'Brit Lions' of British Columbia toured Europe in the Summer of 2016. Touring outside of the traditional season is always tricky, but through our determination and links, we were able to arrange a successful Rugby programme for the tourists in July.
The tour started with a 'social' visit to Frankfurt in Germany. The flight routing the tourists took was through the German city, so we were able to delay their onward flight to Italy.
The team visited Parma & Lido di Jesolo during the Italian leg. With games at our favourite Italian hosts Amatori in Parma and the excellent Mestre Club near Venice. They prepared for their game with a coaching clinic with Italian Rugby legend Marco Bortolami & International Fly-Half Edouardo Padovani.
There was plenty down-time as well. Brewery Tours & Pub Crawls in Germany was followed up with a breathtaking wine tour of the countryside near Parma.
A great Tour, we look forward to seeing the Lions on tour in Scotland in 2019.
"The whole tour was awesome. I was very impressed with how everything that you had organised went so smoothly. The wine tour was incredible and I don't think one guy in the group didn't enjoy it.
Amatori were amazing hosts and the game was great between them. The three cities we went to were all awesome and I had a blast at all of them.
The training sessions with Marco and Eduardo was amazing and I really enjoyed it. They were both class acts. Marco really demands respect and it was very cool to see him coach.
I would recommend you guys to any other clubs in the area and I will."
