SHS are proud to announce that we will be raising money for Wooden Spoon in 2020.
Sky High Sports are delighted to announce a new partnership with Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby.
Wooden Spoon funds life-changing projects which support children and young people with disabilities or living in disadvantage. Since 1983, the charity has funded over 1000 projects across the UK and Ireland, totalling over £28 million.
The charity embraces the rugby values of Passion, integrity, teamwork and fun. Values which resonate strongly amongst our rugby-playing team and aligns with the approach Sky High Sports takes when creating memorable rugby experiences.
We are excited to join the charity on their journey to positively transform the lives of children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland, through the great game of rugby.
Over the course of 2020 Sky High Sports will embark on a series of group and individual challenges to collectively help raise money for the outstanding work the charity does for young people across the UK.
Inspired by the monumental efforts of our female rugby ambassador, Tamara Taylor, (who in 2018 broke a World Record with Wooden Spoon by participating in the highest game of rugby at 6,331m on Mt. Everest!) we are welcoming ideas and suggestions of what challenges you’d like to see Sky High undertake.
Please keep up to date with the Sky High Sports blog, where we will be posting updates on our progress throughout the year!
