Noordwijk is a charming resort on the west coast of Holland. Located just an hour from Amsterdam, this peaceful yet active town is an ideal location for younger teams looking to dip their toe into the world of international touring.
The sand dunes that celebrate your accommodation from the North Sea is a hive of activity, with surfing, dune-skiing, kite-surfing and watersports all available. The beach itself makes a great base to spend free time whether it be swimming, sunbathing or a team 5-a-side competition.
Noordwijk is a great base from which to explore other parts of the Netherlands. Amsterdam is a short drive away & is a great place to visit on your tour. The location also lends itself well to a number of our favourite host rugby clubs who always excel at welcoming touring teams into their clubhouse.

The Dutch are the best hosts in Europe. What is more, they can now back up their skill off the pitch with their skill on it. We have sent some good teams to the Netherlands on Tour who have returned with much different thoughts on Dutch Rugby.
In 2019, we ran more tours to the Netherlands anywhere else.
Nearby, excellent clubs like Haagsche, Gouda, Castricum, Haarlem & The Dukes have hosted our touring sides with aplomb in recent seasons. The Dukes in particular have exceeded even our expectations this year.
For those fortunate to live in the North of England, we'll collect you in an executive coach and transfer you to North Shields Ferry Terminal. From here, DFDS Seaways offer daily overnight crossings to Amsterdam. Often sighted as a real highlight of tours to Northern Europe, the DFDS crossing is superb fun.
You'll spend the night in 2-berth and 4-berth Cabins, enjoy an all-you-can-eat dinner & breakfast, enjoy live Music on the Stage and in the Troubadour bar. It may be the highlight of the tour!
On arrival in Holland, you'll be in the destination in no time.
For those in the South, you'll travel by executive coach from your club to Dover Ferry Terminal before sailing to Calais or Dunkirk. A short 90-minute hop over the channel will have you in Belgium in no time at all. Great value for money - the difference in price between staying in the UK & hopping across to Europe is minimal.
Once you're back on land, it is go go go to your location.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is one of the major hubs in Europe with great links to budget and chartered airlines across the globe. Given the traffic that passes through the airport, flights to Amsterdam are generally cheap.
From Schiphol, the superb road network in the Netherlands means you can be at any one of our Dutch & Belgian locations in next to no time.
You will be based north of the town at purpose built, youth friendly accommodation. The centre has easy access to the beach and has many on-site facilities to keep youth groups entertained.
Down in the town, the Hotel Zom Duist is a group friendly Hotel with great facilities which can keep younger groups entertained during downtime.
Its location near to our preferred local restaurants takes the pressure off constant coach travel in the evenings.
