The Flying Dutchman | 33 Scotland International Caps | Netherlands Rugby Tour Ambassador
Meet Tim Visser, arguably Rugbys most famous Dutchman.
Since his retirement from the game in 2018 Tim has taken a more prominent role within our team and now leads our rugby tour operation to and from the Netherlands.
The 6ft 4" 105kg winger started his rugby career at RC Hilversum (one of our favourite Dutch host-clubs) before moving to the North-East of England to join the Newcastle Falcons Academy. Tim would go on to play five seasons in the Celtic league for Edinburgh Rugby before joining Harlequins to play out the remainder of his career. Making his Scotland debut in 2012, Tim scored twice in a 37-25 win over Fiji. He would go on to score 14 International try's for the National team including two vs the All-Blacks that same year.
As well as opening the door to the unique Dutch rugby culture that is taking Europe by storm, The Rugby Tour Specialists & Tim are on a mission to deliver touring opportunities for Dutch Rugby Clubs wishing to tour to the UK and the opportunity to learn from one of the most physical wingers to play the game.
The Dutch are some of the best hosts in Europe. Every year, even our own expectations are blown by the people in this incredible country.
